Eligibility Criteria (According to Different Posts):
- Village Administrative Officer: If you are applying for the post of Village Administrative Officer then you must have successfully clear S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies. Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs, those who have put in 5five years and more of service in the State / Central Government cannot apply even if they are in the required age limit. Instructions are given for maximum age limit under ‘Instructions to Applicants” will not be applicable for the post-Village Administrative Officer. Differently Abled candidates are eligible and will be given an age concession of 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed above. For those who are ex-servicemen, the applicable age will be 53 years for the applicants belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, and BCMs.
- To apply for the post of Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Field Surveyor, and Draftsman, the candidate must have successfully completed Minimum General Educational Qualification like successful completion of S.S.L.C Public Examination or some equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
- For the post of Typist, the candidate must have successfully passed S.S.L.C (Matric) Public Examination or the equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. Also, the candidate must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:
- By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English
- By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English
- Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
For Steno-Typist Grade III:
Candidate must be possessed with Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have successfully cleared S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent exam with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
Must have successfully cleared the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting and in Shorthand both.
- By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English
- By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English
- Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil
- Computer Qualification (for Typist and Steno-Typist, Grade III)
- Candidate must have successfully passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.
Selection Procedure:
- Those who have technical qualifications (passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English) will be chosen first.
- In the situation, if candidates with technical qualifications (successfully passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English) are unavailable, candidates with technical qualifications (successfully passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English) will be chosen.
- If candidates with technical qualifications (successfully passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English) and (Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English) are unavailable, candidates with technical qualifications (Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil) will be chosen.
Selection Procedure for Steno-Typist (Grade-III):
- Candidates, those who possess technical qualifications (successfully passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English) will be chosen.
- If a candidate possesses technical qualification (passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English) is not available, candidates with technical qualification (passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English) will be chosen.
- If a candidate possesses technical qualification (passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English) and (Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English) unavailable, candidates with technical qualification (Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil) will be chosen.

Admit Card:
The release of the Tamil TNPSC Recruitment 2022 Admit Card will be on a fixed date. Go to the official and catch the admit card. This card consisted of complete details about the candidate like name, date of birth, etc. Also, there will enough information about the exam such as exam name, date, day, and time. The candidate is supposed to download the admit card by entering the application id and date of birth. Make sure to carry this card on the examination day, without this card, the candidate will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
Answer key:
Candidates can collect answer keys from the official website so that they can predict their scores. Entirely based on the final marks in the written test, the list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be created. As soon as verification of the original certificates gets over, the eligible candidates will be called for counseling to avail the post and Unit / Department in the order of rank and category for which they are eligible according to the vacancy position.
