Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programmes:

In order to attain admission in any of the UG programmes of Panjab University, candidates must have successfully passed class XII under CBSE board or any other equivalent examination under-recognized council/board/university. Candidate must attain the minimum percentages in the qualifying exams as per courses.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Programmes:

In order to attain admission in PG programmes, candidates must have completed graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university. The minimum scores attained in the exams depend on the course you have applied for.

PU 2023 Admit Card:

Candidates can acquire PU 2023 Admit Card from the official website. Candidates can seek to admit card for both undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses. Chandigarh University 2023 Exam Pattern:

Chandigarh University 2023  Exam pattern for Undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be different. The entire exam pattern consisted of a number of questions, types of questions, exam duration, and marking scheme.

Exam Pattern for UG Courses:

• The test will be commenced for the following subjects such as Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology. Select the combination for them based on the subjects they studied in class XII such as PCB/PCM.
• Each subject comprises of 60 questions carrying a total of marks.
• Each question will be of 2 marks. There will be a deduction of 0.5 marks for an incorrect answer.
• The time duration of the paper will be 70 minutes.
• The PU CET UG paper will be a multiple choice question-based paper that takes place in the English language.
• Syllabus will be from 10 + 1 and 10 + 2 level.

Exam Pattern for Postgraduate Programmes:

• The time duration of the examination will be for 90 minutes.
• Marks vary as per different courses.
• There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

There will be a release of the answer key for UG and PG courses on different dates. Candidates can access answer keys on different dates for both the programmes via online mode. Candidates can check their answers after giving the examination. This will help in attaining the idea of how you have performed in the examination and how much you will be able to score in the exam.
