MPSC 2023: The MPSC exam is on the list of the prime civil services examinations in India. MPSC is an acronym for Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Set up under the Constitution of India, MPSC is a committee that elects aspirants for governmental duties and jobs in the State of Maharashtra. MPSC Application Form 2023:

MPSC State Service Exam 2023 notification will release in October 2023. Candidates interested in applying for the state service examination can get more details on the official website of MPSC, mpsc.gov.in. Applicants can follow the given below steps to fill the MPSC 2023 Application Form.

• Visit the official website of MPSC i.e, https://mpsconline.gov.in/
• Navigate on ‘New registration’ to start the process.
• Enter the details carefully to verify the details and ‘Create User’.
• Then click on submit.
• Keep the Details safe so that you can use them later for results and cut off.
• Next, they would have to upload scanned images of their recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specifications.
• After all the necessary fields have been filled, individuals can see the preview of their application form. Verify all the details and click on ‘Save’
• Fees can be rendered through online mode (Debit/ Credit card, Net banking) and also by offline mode (e-Challan and Maha e-Seva Kendra).
• Preserve the copy of the receipt of the transaction.

MPSC 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants need to fulfill the following criteria for the examination. The Maharashtra Public Service Commission 2023 eligibility criteria are shown below:

Nationality

• Only an India Citizen.
• The residents of Maharashtra for more than 10 Years are eligible for reservation.

Age Limit

• The lower age limit is set at 19 years of age and the upper age limit prescribed for the test is 38 years for the General category.
• Age relaxation would be applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. It is given as follows.

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• A diploma of a minimum of 3 years duration in any stream can also apply for MPSC.

Selection Process:

The recruitment process has three levels of examination more like UPSC:

• Prelims exam: This is the first stage of the state service examination. Applicants would have to appear for 2 objective-type papers held in a single session. Those who clear the cut-off would be selected for the next exam.
• Mains exam: In this stage, candidates would have to appear for various descriptive-type papers. This would also include the optional subjects chosen by them. The marks obtained in this stage would be used for drawing out a merit list for the interview round.
• Physical Test: This stage is mandatory for only some posts and would be conducted after the main exam.
• Interview: This is the final stage of the exam wherein applicants have to appear before a panel and answer questions about themselves and on the subject’s test through the entire exam process.

MPSC 2023 Exam Pattern:

An exam would be conducted in 3 stages- Prelims, Mains, and interviews. A physical test would also be required for some posts. Here are some highlights of the MPSC  2023 Exam Pattern:

Prelims Exam Pattern:

• Prelims is an objective type of paper (MCQ).
• The total marks for each paper are 200.
• The duration of each paper is 2 hours.
• The Paper will be set in both Marathi as well as English language.
• 1/3rd mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.

Mains Pattern:

• The Mains exam consists of 6 papers.
• Total marks allocated for mains exam – 800 marks.
• Two papers – Marathi and English are the descriptive type of papers.
• The rest four papers consisting of General studies papers are all multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
• All papers are compulsory, and marks scored in all papers will be taken for the final total of marks.
• Negative marking is applicable for General studies papers.

Interview:

• Candidates who will qualify for the Mains Exam are invited for the interview round.
• The interview round is conducted for a total of 100 marks.
• The interview is based on current topics of interest and other general topics like human rights, women and child development, youth welfare, consumer protection, governance and political scenario, international events, etc.

Admit Card:

Download the admit card from the official website. For both the preliminary well as the main examination, the commission will issue different admit cards. The students will have to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without the admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

The MPSC Answer Key will publish in various exam related papers and journals you can also keep searching it in papers and the editorials for the answer key. You can also go to their official website for the same information as mentioned above.

MPSC 2023 Result:

The scorecard would contain the scores obtained in the different papers and the total score:

• Log in to the official MPSC website.
• Click On the ‘Result’ link.
• Aspirants would need to enter their Application/ Roll Number to view the results.
• It would download PDF format of the results
• Take a printout of this soft copy.

Cut-Off:

The Cut off is declared after the results for each post are declared. You can check the result by clicking on the Cut Off link. In the portal, just log in and you would know.
