Eligibility Criteria:

• Those who have successfully completed B.A./B.Sc/M.Com under the 10+2+3 pattern from this University or some other recognized University may apply for the exam.
• Candidate must have passed the above qualification with one main or core subject and two subsidiaries or complementary courses.
• For seeking admission to B.Ed Degree Course, those who have passed the qualifying Examination from Universities outside Kerala need to submit Eligibility Certificate stating
• For seeking admission to B. Ed. Course, the candidate must have attained at least 50 % marks or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor’s Degree (Science/Arts Subjects)
• For (Common, Core, Complementary and Open Courses) together, Part I + II+ III with at least 50% or equivalent CGPA in MA/M.Sc/M Com.
• For (Core and Complementary courses) alone, Part III with minimum 50% or equivalent CGPA in MA/M.Sc/M Com
• There will be marks relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
• Those who are applying for the examination must be physically fit and mentally sound.
• There will be an age relaxation of 5% for SEBC candidate
• Blind candidates with above 40% disability will be given age relaxation of 5%
• Deaf/Dumb candidates cannot appear for the test.
• Those who belong to OEC will be 5% marks relaxation.
• Those who belong to SC/ST and natives of Lakshadweep, Aided or Government Teachers with 3 years regular service will be an age relaxation of 5%

Exam Pattern:

Here are the important points related to the Exam Pattern:

• There will be a language test for 100 marks to be completed in 1 hour 30 minutes
• Then there will be General Knowledge and Reasoning test for 100 marks to be completed in 105 Minutes
• Discretionary Paper for Science/Arts/Commerce will be for 100 marks to be completed in 1 hour 30 minutes.
