Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

All the aspirants who want to enroll or participate in the DCECE (Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination) and seeking admission into the programs of PE, PPE, PMD, and PM programs. They have to ensure that they are qualifying every term and condition of the eligibility criteria before getting to the application form. PE Programs (Polytechnic Engineering):

• All the candidates must be having permanent citizenship of India.
• Students must have a state-approved certificate, which can authenticate their residence of Bihar.
• To get enrolled in the PE program, one must have passed class 10^th from a center or state-recognized university with a minimum of 35 % of marks.

For the PPE Programs (Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering):

• Candidates must have at least 50 % marks in Science and Math in the secondary exam with at least 3 years of working experience.
• Aspirants must have at least 50 % of marks in Science and Math in the secondary exam with one year of work experience and 2 years of ITI.
• All the candidates must have at least 50 % marks in Mathematics and Science in the secondary exam with 2 years of working experience and 1 year of ITI.

For PMD course (Para Medical-Dental (Matric Level):

• Candidate must pass the 10th or its equivalent passed with physics, chemistry, biology, and English subjects.

Age Limit for all courses:

• The minimum age limit set by the university is 15 years.
• The maximum age limit set by the university is 30 years.

Physical Fitness:

• A physical test will conduct by the medical experts to evaluate the aspirant’s physical fitness.

For PM course (Para Medical Intermediate Level):

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with PCM/B & English subjects.
• The age limit must be 17 years (Minimum) & 32 years (Maximum) as of 31st December 2023.

Bihar Polytechnic Exam Pattern 2023:

The candidates appearing for Bihar polytechnic exam must get the knack of the roadmap of the entrance exam. All the students should prepare for the same lines of the exam pattern. It comprised of – No. of questions, Marks allotted to each question, types of questions, and the segments in which the whole paper is divided. Here are the details of the pattern of the exam:

• The exam is conducted by offline mode.
• The candidate must use a black & blue ballpoint pen.
• The paper will consist of MCQ types of questions.
• The duration of the Exam will be 2 hours 15 minutes.
• The paper will be of 450 marks.
• There will be no negative marking in the exam.

PE & PPE:

• The question paper is well segmented into – Physics, Maths, and Chemistry and each segment will carry 30 questions.
• The total question in the paper will be 90 and 5 marks will be allotted for each question.

PM:

• General Science: 25 questions, Algebra: 15 questions, Hindi: 15 questions, English: 15 questions, G.K: 20 questions.

PMD:

• The total time duration allotted for the exam will be 2 hours and 15 marks.

Syllabus:

The question will be asked from the 10th standard of the Bihar School Board. The subjects from which the questions will be asked are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, General Science, Numerical Ability, Hindi, English, and General Knowledge.

Admit Card:

The admit card is an official document released by the examination cell of the Bihar Polytechnic 2023. Is it issued for those candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms before the deadline?
