NIT Kurukshetra Ph.D Admission 2022: NIT Kurukshetra stands for National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra is an engineering institute situated in Kurukshetra, Haryana. NIT Kurukshetra Ph.D Admission 2022 Application Form:

• Download the application form for a Ph.D. from the institute’s portal.
• Fill all the details asked in the application form carefully and clearly. An incomplete and incorrectly filled form will lead to cancellation.
• Write an application to “The Director NIT Kurukshetra”, and submit it to the office of the Registrar, Golden Jubilee Administrative Building, NIT Kurukshetra, and Kurukshetra-136119.

Application Fee:

• Make a payment of the application form Rs. 200/- which needs to be submitted with an application form via Demand Draft in favor of Director, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra payable at Kurukshetra.
• You may also deposit the application fee Rs. 200/- using online mode using SBI i-collect facility. If you are using this mode to submit a fee then attach the receipt of the online payment along with the application.

About Institute Scholarship:

• GATE/NET qualified researchers will get Institute partnership.
• Support for doctoral program by the MHRD will be named as Research/Teaching Assistantship.
• An opportunity for an up-and-comer candidate will be there for two years.
• If the examination researcher has contributed in any event one research paper prior the third year, the grant will be expanded to the third year.
• Similarly in the fourth year if the examination researcher has contributed in any event two/one research papers individually prior fourth year.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Only full-time Ph.D. investigate researchers will be considered qualified for the honor of the Institute grant
• A researcher can apply for the grant via director and concerned Chairman, DRC. In the specific department, scholarships will be given if these are easily accessible in that division
• The qualification for grant and its sum will be based on rules by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resources Development) Govt. of India.
• Those who are granted grant/association or the same from some other source will not be considered qualified for the organization grant
• Support for doctoral program by the MHRD will be named as Research/Teaching Assistantship. Only GATE/NET qualified up-and-comers will be considered qualified.
• Those who are getting Research/Teaching Assistantship will put in place for a minimum of 8 hours of research or instructing allotted in the organization.
• If the candidate is a customary staff/worker in the supporting establishment/association and finished on the most recent day of accepting applications, at least for a year of administration into avail  Master’s qualification at the degree of Assistant Professor or comparable in the supporting science certificate level specialized foundation or R and D association/industry
• Those who worked in NIT on an ordinary/contract (counting the undertaking staff) for a longer time or more will be perfect for the above condition
• The promising candidate those who fulfill the DRC that the social obligations that contribute him to dedicate the time may also apply.
• The candidate needs to visit NITK to talk about the examination work with his manager in the Department. The candidate is permitted to visit at least twice every semester. Every visit will be acknowledged to the Chairman of the DRC for record Eligibility for Institute Scholarship.

NIT Kurukshetra Ph.D 2022 Reservation/ Relaxation Info:

• 15% scholarships will be reserved for Scheduled Caste applicants
• 7.5% seat reservation will be for Scheduled Tribe applicants.
• 3% scholarships will be reserved for persons with disabilities (PwD)
• There will be marks relaxation of 5% SC / ST / PwD applicants at both the Bachelor’s & Master’s level

Exam Pattern & Syllabus:

• 60 minutes for Paper – I
• 120 minutes for Paper – II
• Paper – I will be the main subject, Research Methodology for 100 marks.
• Paper-II will be Specific to Research Methodology for 100 marks.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 50% Admission will be commenced based on Merit in the Research Eligibility Test and Viva-voce according to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra Reservation Norms.
• 50% for Paper – I, Examination Duration will be 60 minutes, Subject-Specific will have 50 Multiple Choice Questions
• Paper-II Examination Duration will be 120 minutes Subject Specific will have Descriptive Type Questions for 100 marks.

Admit Card:

• Go to the official website to download the admit card.
• The candidate will be able to collect the admit card within 15 days prior exam date.
• Use the secret key to download the admit card.
• Admit cards will have crucial details like name, contact number, Exam day, date, and time.
