JTET 2022: JTET means Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test. This test is conducted by the State of Jharkhand through the Jharkhand Academic Council every year. This test certifies to teachers that they are capable to teach class 1st to 8th. There is a separate test for class 1st to 5th and 6th to 8th, one candidate may appear for both papers as the examination is conducted in two sittings.

JTET Exam Pattern:
JTET exam consists of objective type multiple-choice questions. The duration of a paper in 90 minutes. There is no negative marking.

JTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
PAPER1
- Candidates should have passed class12 or its equivalent with at least 50% Marks
- The candidates must have passed or is appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
- Passed or Appearing in final 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed)
OR
- Passed or Appearing in final 2years Diploma in Education
OR
- Having a B.Ed degree from a recognized universities/institution
PAPER2
- Candidates having Graduation Degree with 45% marks passed or appearing in final
- Passed or appearing in the final years of B.Ed
OR
- Passed or appearing in the final years of 2 years D.Ed
OR
- Passed or appearing in the final years of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed)
OR
- B.A/B.Sc, B.Ed, B.Ed Special education with 50% marks
