Kalasalingam University B.Ed 2023: The Kalasalingam University is a private university, which is based in Krishnankoil, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1984 by Kalasalingam and Anandam Ammal Charities. It offers undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral programs to the applicants. Kalasalingam University is the first-ever institution in India to offer B.Tech program for differently-abled students. The university has received a DST funding. It is the national center for Advanced Research in Discrete Mathematics.

To take admission in Kalasalingam University, one should fill up the application form. The individual can use either online or offline mode to fill up the form. An online application form can be accessed from the official website of the university.

For getting the offline application form, one can buy it from the university’s selected bookshops.  The following details should be kept in mind while filling the form.

• Every information that is asked by the university via the form, should be filled properly and accurately.
• The university does not allow any changes while processing the form; so be careful and fill the correct details only.

Moving to the application fee, it is different for different courses. For an engineering course, a total of Rs. 2500 is to be paid as the application fee. Whereas for the MBA, the application fee is Rs. 1100.

• Cash is also accepted by the University for Application Form’s Payment. But, the cash can only be submitted at the University.

Eligibility Criteria:

Undergraduate Courses:

• 60% of marks in every subject at the higher secondary level are compulsory.
• For technical courses, such as engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is a must at higher secondary school course.
• For medical students (who opted for biology at a higher secondary level), courses like pharmacy and nursing are available.
• If a student has an effective score in JEE Mains/ NEET, it will be considered during admission in the technical branch.

Post-graduate Courses:

• For post-graduation, a minimum of 50%-60% in graduation is compulsory, depending upon the course chosen.
• The applicant must own a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• If the candidate has appeared or got a rank in any national level exam of his/her stream, it will be considered while admission.

Doctoral Courses:

• To take admission for a doctoral course, the applicant must have secured at least 60% in post-graduation.
• The master’s degree owned by the candidate should be from a recognized university.
• In case an applicant wants to go for the pharmaceutical sciences, a minimum experience of two years (in the managerial/executive/academic field) is required.

Exam Pattern:

The applicant need not prepare for any kind of entrance exam. Kalasalingam University takes admissions on the basis of higher and senior secondary performances. With this, if the candidate has any record of national-level exams, it is also accounted for.

After equating all the necessary aspects, applicants are shortlisted. The merit list is then uploaded on the official website of the university. The candidates who are accepted are requested to follow the further instructions.
