- For Unreserved category, there will be 64 vacancies and RFW 19.
- For Scheduled Cast, there will be 9 vacancies and RFW 3.

- Scheduled Tribe living in Plains will have 7 vacancies and RFW 2
- Scheduled Tribe living in hills will have 2 vacancies and RFW 1

APSC 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must be the permanent resident of Assam state.
- The candidate needs to show a Permanent Residency Certificate issued in Assam for residence proof along with the application form.
- Candidate must be possessed with the degree of graduation in Civil Engineering from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the government or must be passed Part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessed with the certificate to the effect from the Institution of Engineers (India).
- In addition to English, candidates must have enough of the knowledge of at least 1 official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) apart from candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
- Applicant’s age should be between 21 to 38 years of age as on 01-01-2022. There will be age relaxation in the upper age limit:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
- 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates.
- Salary Scale: Rs. 30,000/-1, 10,000/-PB 4 with Grade Pay of Rs 12,700/- with other allowances as admissible under rules of the government of Assam
APSC Recruitment 2022 Process to Apply:
- First go to the official website to download the application form and visit the official website apsc.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘Forms and downloads’ section.
- Click on the ‘Direct Recruitment (DR) (New Form)’ download link.
- Go through the instructions mentioned on the first page of the application form.
- Affix a copy of the recent photo in the application form. Signature should also be there in the space provided. You should also enclose another signed copy along with the application form.
- Fill in the credentials such as name, Parent name, gender, address, etc. Enter place and date. Sign the declaration.
- Fill and sign Declaration ‘Form – A’.
