UPRTOU Admission 2023: In 1999 UPRTOU or Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University started its journey. It is situated in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University is UGC recognized and got its approval from the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This Open University conducts its operation through 12 study centres situated in different cities of Uttar Pradesh.UPRTOU or Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University offers 16 courses on different streams. BA, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, and B.Com are offered at the undergraduate level. The University conducts MA, M.Com, MBA, M.Sc, and MCA at the Post Graduate level. Aspiring students can also apply for diploma and post-diploma courses under Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University. - Candidates will be judged on merit for admission in B.Com, BA, BBA, BSc and BCA courses.
- B.Ed aspirants need to seat for the entrance examination conducted by UPRTOU.
- Candidates willing to pursue UG programs must know that all UG programs are conducted for 5 years in UPRTOU.
- For MBA courses admission is granted based on the scores of XAT, CAT, and CMAT scores. The University also conducts an Entrance Tests for MBA aspirants as well.
- Any student having the scorecard of any national level exams need not have to seat for the MBA entrance test conducted by the University.
- MCA aspirants need to qualify for the UPRTOU entrance to get selected for the program.
UPRTOU 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
- For B.A program applicants need to qualify class 12th from any reputed board with English as an obligatory subject.
- For B.Com program applicants need to qualify class 12th from any reputed board with commerce as an obligatory subject.
- For B.Sc program applicants need to qualify class 12th from any reputed board with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Mathematics or Home Science as an obligatory subject.
- Applicants with Senior Secondary qualification in Science with Biology or Maths as mandatory subjects. Candidates with Home Science in class 12th can also opt for the Human Nutrition course.
- For BCA applicants need to qualify 10 + 2 + 3 with Maths and English as obligatory subjects from any renowned board.
- Diploma holders with 3 year IT training after class 10 can also apply for the course.
- For BBA program applicants need to qualify class 12th from any reputed board with commerce as an obligatory subject.
- For B. Lib.I.Sc applicants need to qualify for graduation in any stream from any renowned Institution or University.
- For B.Ed program graduates from any stream is eligible to apply. B,Ed applicants need to qualify the entrance test. Candidates are finally absorbed only after considering their previous results and entrance score.
- For M.A, candidates need to have BA qualifications in the applicable stream from any renowned institution or University.
- For Home Science B.Sc in Home Science or BA in Home Science with any specialization is required.
- For M.sc candidates need to qualify for bachelor’s degrees with a specialization in any science subjects.
- For MBA 50% marks in graduation are desirable for general candidates and 45% marks from SC/ST candidates.3 years’ experience in a managerial position or a diploma is also required.
- For the MCA program a bachelor’s degree with mathematics as a subject is required.
