DNB CET 2022 is an entrance examination commenced twice in a year. This national entrance test is completely managed by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The aim of the examination is to proffer admission into posts like -DNB/MD/MS Super Specialty courses. Sometimes, it is also called Diplomate National Board Centralized Entrance Test-Super Specialties (DNB-CET SS). DNB-CET is a qualifying-cum-ranking exam to seek entry into various Post Graduate courses, a specialty of Plastic Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Cardio-thoracic Surgery, and Pediatric Surgery. DNB CET 2022 Application Form:
It is suggested to apply for DNB CET 2022 via an entrance examination. The beginning has to be done via the application form.
- Get the application form to apply for DNB CET 2022 using online mode only.
- You need to fill all fields carefully and correctly as incorrect and incomplete fields may lead to the cancelation of the form.
- Choose the exam center city as per your choice and keeping in mind other factors.
- After filling the form, keep a print out with you for further use.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Entrant must have passed the MBBS course approved by Medical Council of India
- Registration Applicant should be registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India along with the proof of it.
- Those who are waiting for their PG medical degrees/provisional pass certificate by 31-08-2022 may also apply.
- Those who have completed their three years of rotatory training by 31 August 2022 may also apply.

Process to Apply for DNB CET 2022:
- First, click on the registration button.
- Start with the application process for DNB CET 2022 by providing details like name, contact number, email id, address, etc.
- Click on the Save button and click next.
- Upload the latest photograph and signature in the prescribed format provided by NBE. The minimum file size of the photo must be 20 KB and a maximum of 50 KB and minimum size of signature must be 10 KB and maximum 20 KB.
- Fill all the academic details, registration, and internship details. Click ‘Save’ and ‘next’ after filling in the information
- Go through the application form prior to making the submission.
- Submit the Application Fee via Online Payment mode such as Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking option.
- Click on submit Button. The application form will be submitted successfully. Take a copy of the application form for future reference.
DNB CET 2022 Application Fee:
The application fee for DNB CET 2022 will be Rs. 4500/- and it will be the same for all categories. Make a payment of the application fee using several modes such as Credit Card or Debit Card issued by banks in India or via net banking. In case, your application is rejected, the fee will not be refunded.
Admit Card:
- The admit card is also provided via online mode. Download the admit card using details such as username and password.
- The admit card will be released in the second week of December 2022 for the January session.
- The admit card for the July session will be released in the third week of June 2022. Make sure to take print of the admit card.
- Carry the following documents along with the admit card to the exam center.
- A printed copy of the Admit Card with photograph pasted on it.
- Photocopy of the Permanent or Provisional SMC/MCI registration.
- Anything amongst PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, and Aadhar Card.
DNB CET 2022Exam Syllabus: The syllabus of DNB CET 2022 consisted of several subjects prescribed by the authority of the Medical Council of India keeping in mind the prior consideration of the Government of India. The question paper will consist of Part A and Part B sections.
- Part A includes topics such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Ophthalmology, and Forensic Medicine.
- Part B includes ENT, general medicine, Statistical, and Biomedical Research SPM, general surgery, dermatology & STD, Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedics, radiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and Gynaecology, psychiatry.

- ANATOMY will have 24 questions.
- PHYSIOLOGY with 24 questions
- BIOCHEMISTRY will have 24 questions.
- PATHOLOGY will have 18 questions.

- PHARMACOLOGY will have 18 questions.
- FORENSIC MEDICINE will have 12 questions.
- OPHTHALMOLOGY will have 12 questions.
PART -B
- ENT will have 12 questions.
- SPM, STATISTICS & BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH will have 24 questions.
- GENERAL MEDICINE will have 26 questions.
- PSYCHIATRY will have 6 questions.
- DERMATOLOGY & STD will have 6 questions.
- GENERAL SURGERY will have 25questions.
- Orthopedics will have 5 questions.
- ANAESTHESIOLOGY will have 5 questions.
- RADIOLOGY will have 5 questions.
- OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY will have 24 questions.
- PAEDIATRICS will have 12 questions.
Paper will have MCQ type questions
Exam Pattern:
- The exam will be computer-based
- The question paper includes multiple-choice questions. The question paper remain the same for medical super specialties, all surgical super specialties, and all pediatric super specialties.
- The language of the paper will be English.
- There will be 180 multiple choice questions from each section.
- Time Duration will be 210 minutes for each section.
- The candidate will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer and 25% negative marking will be done.
Exam Result:
Those who have acquired minimum percentile according to the category mentioned below will be considered as “Qualified” in DNB CET 2022.
- For General category applicants, it is 50%
- For SC/ST/OBC category, it is 40%
- For PWD, it is 45%
Counselling:
Those who successfully qualify the Centralized Entrance Test (DNB-CET) commenced by NBE will be called for counselling
Seat Allotment:
- The seat will be allotted to the eligible candidates only via personal appearance
- Candidates will be called in batches in the order of merit.
- It is compulsory for applicants to appear for counselling at the scheduled time specified in his/her Rank Letter.
- The schedule for further counseling rounds will be notified at the official website after the completion of the first round.
- If a candidate fails to appear in the first round of counselling will not be considered eligible for the subsequent round(s).
- Those who are opting for the confirmed seat will not appear further for counselling rounds.
- The counselling will be done on the basis of Merit Position (marks obtained by the candidates)

Points to Remember:
- The candidate won’t be permitted to appear in the examination if an applicant gets disqualified at any stage of DNB-CET
- Requests to appear in DNB CET 2022 July Admission Session from those candidates who have completed internship after 31st August 2022 or having qualifications that are not recognized as per IMC Act will also be rejected.
- Those who are already pursuing the DNB course will not be permitted to appear for the DNB-CET till they have completed the entire duration of the prescribed course or discharged from the course. Those who have joined DNB- Broad Specialty course in or after December 2014 session cannot appear in DNB-CET 2022.
- Those who are appearing in DNB-CET 2022 will not be permitted for automatic rights upon the applicant for admission at NBE recognized hospital/ institute.
- The applicant can register for DNB-CET 2022 only once. Registration for the CET exam more than once shall constitute unfair means which will lead to disqualification and/or penal action.
