CLAT PG 2022CLAT PG 2022: CLAT is a National Level Entrance Test that is organized by NLU in order to provide admission to the law aspirants interested in either 3 or 5 years integrated LLB and LLM programs. CLAT PG 2022 Application Form:

  • The application form will be published in the 1st week of January 2022.
  • The last date of registration will be the 4th week of March 2022.
  • The candidates will be able to submit the application form online
  • At the time of registration, it is necessary for the candidate to provide a valid working phone number and an email id in the application form.
  • It is necessary for the candidates to upload the signature and a scanned copy of the passport size photographs in the prescribed size and format.
  • For a limited period of time, the candidates will also get the option of making the necessary rectifications in the application form.
  • The candidates have to take a print of the application form for use in the future.

CLAT PG Application Fee:

  • Candidates will be able to submit the fee online using the debit or the credit card.
  • The candidates belonging to the General/OBD/SAP/PWD categories will have to submit Rs. 4000
  • The candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will have to pay Rs. 3000.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • For the LLB program there will be no upper age limit. The candidate will have to pass the class XII or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate. The candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will have to get a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate. The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in the month of April and May 2022 will also be eligible to appear for this program.
  • There is no age limit for the candidates applying for the LLM programs. It is necessary for the candidates to apply for LLB or any other equivalent programs with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in aggregate for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category. The candidates who are applying for the qualifying examination in the month of March/April 2022 will also be eligible to appear for this test.

Exam Pattern:

  • The duration of the examination will be for two hours.
  • There will be a total of 150 objective type questions
  • The mode of the examination will be offline.
  • For the LLB programs, the candidates will have to attempt a total of 5 sections
  • For the LLM programs, the candidates will have to attempt a total of 3 sections
  • The candidate will get 1 mark for each question
  • 25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released in the third week of April 2022 for the candidates who have registered successfully. It is necessary for the candidates to carry valid id proof along with the admit card to the examination hall. You will have to follow the steps given below to download the admit card:

  • The candidate will first have to visit the official website of CLAT
  • After this, the candidate will have to download the admit card by clicking on the “Download admit card” tab
  • In the third step, the candidate will have to enter the email id and the password
  • After this, the candidate will have to click on the “log in/Submit tab
  • Finally, the candidate will have to check and then download the admit card

Cut Off:

The number of candidates appearing for the examination tends to increase each year. Therefore the cut off marks are also subject to increase. There will be a 5 or 10% increase this year as well. In order to appear for the counseling the candidates will have to get the cut off marks. It is the cut off that forms the basis of seat allotment and also the counseling.
