AFMC Eligibility Criteria

AFMC Eligibility: AFMC will assist students in understanding the requirements in order to apply for the AFMC examination. This AFMC examination is the national level based examination commenced for taking admission to the MBBS programme. Those who belong to Indian nationality are considered eligible for participating in the AFMC MBBS examination. Candidates who are desperate to take admission to the course, first of all required to fill the application which is available on the official website. Those who are applied according to the eligibility can fill the AFMC Admission form. Eligibility is based on age, the least possible percentage, academic qualification, subjects, nationality, etc. It is thus important not to move forward a single step without moving to the eligibility criteria.

AFMC Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: While applying for the AFMC MBBS Entrance Test, ensure that only an Indian nationality candidate can apply. If this condition does not suit you then drop the idea.
  • Age Limit: If you are 17 or above and 22 and not above 22 as per the 31st December of the year then ensure for applying for the examination.
  • Academic Qualification: Those who have completed their higher secondary with at least 60% marks can apply for the examination. Mandatory subjects in class XII include Physics, Maths, and Chemistry and must have attained at least 50% marks in each subject.

Remember:

  • Those who have passed SSC or appearing in the final year are most welcome to apply. In addition to this, those who are not less than 24 years can also apply for the AFMC MBBS test.
  • Ensure health status. Those who are physically fit and mentally healthy can apply for the examination. Besides this, the candidate will not be allowed to get married until and unless the MBBS course gets over.
