MGU CAT 2022 Application Form:

Start with the registration by filling the application form. Those who are applying must fill and submit the application form. Candidates can also register their applications and submit the payment at the nearest Akshaya Centre. Fill the application form carefully and accurately. Submit the application fee using online mode. Registration Fee:

Candidates belonging to the General category will submit Rs 800 as registration fee and SC/ST category will pay Rs 400. Application Fee:

Eligibility Criteria:

Check the eligibility requirements for applicants:

• To apply for Master of Tourism and Travel Management, the applicant must have successfully completed graduation (including professional degrees) with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from MGU or from some other University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University.
• To apply for M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc Microbiology, M.Sc Biochemistry, and M.Sc Biophysics, the applicant must have done B.Sc in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Physics. The applicant must have acquired at least 50% marks on the qualifying exam.
• To apply for M.Sc Physics, the candidate must be possessed with a B.Sc degree in Physics with at least 50% marks.
• To apply for M.Sc Environment Science & Disaster Management, the candidate must be possessed with a B.Sc degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks.
• To opt for M.Sc Psychology, applicants must have successfully cleared BA/B.Sc in Psychology with a minimum of 50% marks
• To apply for M.Sc Computer Science, the candidate must be possessed with a B.Sc degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/BCA with at least 50% marks.
• To apply for LL.M, the candidate must be possessed with LL.B degree with minimum of 50% marks.
• To apply for M.Ed in Social Science Education, Commerce Education, IT Education, Language Education, Mathematics Education, the candidate must have successfully cleared B.Ed. exam with at least 55% marks.
• To apply for M.A. Economics, the applicant must be possessed with the degree of Graduation in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics with at least 45% marks or equivalent degree from the MGU approved institutions.
• To opt for MA Politics & Human Rights, MA Politics (Public Policy & Governance) – UGC, MA Politics & International Relations, Sponsored Programme, the candidate must have done graduation in History/Law/ Economics/Politics with 45% mark or possessed with the degree in Commerce/English/Sociology/ Anthropology/Psychology/Philosophy/Geography with minimum 50% marks or must have done graduation in Science stream with minimum 60% marks.
• To apply for MA(English), the applicant must have done graduation with at least 45% marks or must have passed graduation in Arts/Science with at least 50% marks.
• To apply for M.A. Development Studies, M.A. Gandhian Studies, the candidate must be a graduate in any subject with at least 45% marks.

MGU CAT Exam Pattern:

• MGU CAT exam will be for the duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes for all the programs.
• The question paper will be consisted of objective type multiple choice questions for PG programs excluding the School of Letters, School of Tourism Studies, and School of Indian Legal Thought, as these will consist of both MCQ and descriptive type questions.
