AYUSH Counselling 2022: AYUSH is shortened for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy along with six Indian systems of medicine spread and practiced all over India and some of the neighboring Asian countries and in some of the developed countries.
AYUSH Counselling 2022:
The second round started in the month of December and students might be confused regarding admission in undergraduate courses under AYUSH. Students also wanted to know all about the admission process. Given below is the information about Counselling for Under Graduate courses.
The counseling schedule released online on the official website. It is important for candidates to avail all information about counseling commenced by the Ministry of AYUSH. The registration process will begin online from the month of November. In regard to State Quota counselling, the candidates should approach the Education Department of the State or Central University of the State or any other Government Ayurvedic college for Counselling details inclusive of registration dates.
Counselling Details:
- AYUSH under Graduate counseling process for the year 2022-23 will start towards the end of the November month and Registration process will be completed by the month of December.
- The Counselling process will get over in several rounds and the candidate must appear in each stage of the counseling process.
- The registration fee submitted for AYUSH Centralized Counselling is non-refundable whereas the security deposit will be returned later according to the guidelines.
- Those who qualify NEET 2022 examination should have complete information about the admission process
- Also, keep all the documents ready for counselling.
Seat Reservation:
AYUSH Under Graduate and Post Graduate admission will be commenced on the basis of State Counselling as well as Centralized Counselling. The State Counselling will be for 85% seats and 15% seats for Centralized Counselling. The Centralized Counselling includes Government, Government Aided, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, and National Institutes.
Next, the counseling for all India quota seats of Private Institutes (other than Deemed University) will be commenced by counseling authority of the respective State/UT Government. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee or AACCC, Ministry of AYUSH is the authority for conducting Counselling for 15% seats.

AYUSH Counselling 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
Those who wish to appear in counseling to seek admission in Under Graduate courses BUMS, BHMS, etc must check the eligibility conditions:
- Those who have successfully cleared NEET 2022 examination may apply.
- Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects in Class XII for admission in Under Graduate courses.
- Those who are seeking admission under the Economically Weaker Section quota must produce supportive documents.
- Reserved category candidates must be possessed with the documentary evidence for category proof.
- The competent authority will go through the documents to verify them for admission.

Application Form Submission for Counseling:
The eligible applicants according to the NEET 2022 result will fill the application form to appear in counseling process. There will be separate counseling i.e. Centralized (15% AQI seats) and State (85% State Quota Seats). Check the important points with regard to counseling application form:
- Go to the official portal of AYUSH UG Counselling 2022 and go for new registration.
- Click the respective link and enter registration details like name, father’s name, contact details, etc.
- Fill in the choices of courses and colleges in order of preferences.
- Submit the counselling fee.
- Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Check the details in the application form before final submission.
- Towards the end, click the submit button and seek a printout of the confirmation page for further reference.
Counseling Fee:
Submit the counseling fee via any of the modes such as net banking, credit/debit card. Check more details about the same:
General/OBC candidates who are applying for AQI Government/Government Aided colleges:
- Rs. 1000/- as registration fee + Rs.10000/- as security money.
- SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs.500/- as registration fee +Rs.10000/- as security money.
Private colleges/Deemed Universities:
- Rs.5000/- as registration fee + Rs.50000/- as security money.
Note: Security money will be refunded whereas the registration fee is non-refundable.
