Jain International Residential School Admission 2022: Jain International Residential School (JIRS) is situated in Bangalore city. JIRS was established in the year 1999 and promoted by the Jain Group of Institution. JIRS is a co-educational boarding school. JIRS is affiliated with CBSE, CAIE, IB, and IGCSE. Currently, in the school, approximately 750 students from grade IV to grade XII are rolls under the three academic programs. The teacher and students ratio is 1:8. In each class, there are 25 students sits.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

JIRS School campus is spread over 350 acres. All classrooms are air-conditioned and well equipped with smart tools like E- Boards and individual seating arrangements. There are separate buildings for the junior section and senior sections. Audio-visual lecture room, activity rooms within the building. The classroom has the strength of 25 students. The campus is accessible with a learning resource center and digital hook-ups with internet and online libraries. Library featuring a wide range of books, journals, periodicals, CDs and DVDs They provide proper projection systems and lockers facilities for both day scholars and boarders. A basketball, four tennis courts, billiards and snooker halls, Taekwondo hall, bowling alley, sir conditioned gym, cardio, and aerobic fitness centre, a health care, cafeteria, and boarding houses. They provide transport facilities for students and staff members.

They have separate laboratories for science subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and biology. All laboratories are well equipped and contain all safety measures. They also have separate computer science labs for the junior section to senior section of the students. Computers are available in the classroom. The whole campus has Wi-Fi connectivity.

There are separate hostel facilities available for both girls and boys. Warden is available for both girl’s and boys’ hostels. Security guards are available in the hostel to provide safety. Each dormitory block accommodation 32 students with four students sharing one room. The central dining hall is available in the hostel which can sit 500 students at a time. They serve fresh hygienic food. The catering staff follows strict neat and clean hygiene conditions of the dining hall. Every time fresh and clean food will be served to the students and staff members of the school.

Various sports activities like badminton, cricket, basketball, horse riding, soccer, table tennis, volleyball, swimming, gymnasium, athletics, tennis, football, and hockey, etc. School also has an indoor stadium for the students. A very big auditorium is present inside the school with a seating capacity of 2000 people, to organize school functions; events, etc. school also has to give the visual and performing arts facilities in Arts, Dance, and Music. There are lane track and field stadium courts, squash court.

JIRS Curricular Activities:

JIRS arranges state level and inter-school competitions like dance competition, quiz competition, writing competition, golf, swimming, athletics, singing competition, Painting, Pottery, Clay Modeling, Dramatics, Classical Dance, orchestral instruments, Vocal Instrumental Music, Craft, School Band, Photography, etc. The school always motivates students to take part in the extra activities arranged by the school committee. During the whole academic year, the school arranges a lot of sports and games activities. JIRS timely monitors each student’s physical and mental performance by using different levels of tests.

JIRS Academics

JIRS is affiliated with the Central Board of Education (CBSC), General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE ‘O’ and ‘A’), Cambridge Lower Secondary Program (LSP). Between the classes from kindergarten to class IV to XII, they follow the CBSC curriculum. For grades VII, they follow Cambridge Lower Secondary Program (LSP). For grades VIII through X, they follow the International General Certificate of Secondary Education ‘O’ level (IGCSE) curriculum. For grade XII and XI grades, they follow IGCSE ‘A’ level curriculum.
