B.Sc (Catering Science and Hotel Management) – Candidate must have completed class XII or 3 year diploma in an allied subject. The upper age limit to apply is 21 years
BCom: Candidate must have completed class XII in Commerce
BVoc (Fashion Technology, Software Development) – Class XII is the minimum qualification to apply
Integrated five-year MBA – Applicant must have done 10+2 in any stream
MA (English, History, Economics, Sociology) – Candidate must possess with the degree of graduation in the relevant discipline
MA (Journalism & Mass Communication) – Applicant must be possessed with the degree of graduation with at least 55% aggregate
MA (Theatre & Film Studies) – Applicant must be a graduate in any discipline
MLIBISc – Candidate must have done graduation in Science/Arts/Humanities
MSW – Candidate must have done graduation in any discipline
MSc (Botany, Zoology, Applied Geology) – Candidate must have completed BSc in Botany/Zoology/Geology

Alagappa University offers a full-time two-year M. Sc programme in several disciplines. Here are the details:

M.Sc (Physics) requires the candidate to have completed B. Sc in Physics or allied subject
M.Sc (Chemistry) – Candidate must have done BSc in Chemistry or allied subject
M.Sc (Mathematics) – The minimum qualification is B. Sc in Mathematics/CS
M.Sc (Botany) – Candidate must have completed B. Sc in Botany/Plant Science/ Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology
M.Sc (Zoology) – The minimum qualification is B. Sc Zoology/Biological Sciences/Life Sciences (except Botany)
To do M. Sc in Applied Geology, the candidate must have done B. Sc in Geology with 50% aggregate
For doing M. Sc in Biotechnology, candidate must have completed B. Sc in Physical Sciences subject with at least 55% aggregate
To do M. Sc in Microbiology, the applicant must have completed B. Sc in Biological Sciences with 50% aggregate
