Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants are required to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Here are the eligibility conditions:

  • The applicant’s age should be 24 years at least. The age relaxation of 05 years is given to SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
  • The aspirant must be in good health and free from any sort of defect/communicable disease.
  • Make sure to submit a medical certificate from a registered MBBS or equivalent recognized degree doctor for the same.
  • Candidate must have cleared 10+2 of CBSE or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University.
  • They must have acquired a minimum of 50% marks in XII and 45% in the case of the SC/ST/PWD category.
  • However, for other boards/ universities, the aggregate of marks in the best 5 subjects including one language in which they are required to pass for qualifying in XII.

Merit List:

The exam conducting authority will release the merit list on the official website. The merit list is prepared based on marks attained in class XII. The merit list will be released in online mode. It is easy to download the merit list from the official website. In case of the same marks, the authority will use the tie-breaking criteria.

Tie-Breaking Criteria:

Check the tie-breaking rules given below:

  • Applicants must attain higher marks in class X to break the tie.
  • If the tie persists, it can be sorted out by considering the date of birth, and priority is given to candidates in older.
  • In case the tie failed to solve, then there will be a drawing of lots while preparing the merit list.

Seat Allotment:

Once the document verification process gets over, the list of seat allotments to the applicants for D.El.Ed and DPSE will be released by the SCERT, Delhi. In the allotment list, applicants can check the Registration number, and allotment institution.

After the result announcement, candidates will move personally to the allotted center along with original documents and the admission fee. In case, candidates fail to appear, they will not be given admission to the course.

Documents Verification:

It is essential to carry important documents for verification. Only those who have their names on the merit list will appear for document verification. If by chance, the candidate fails to appear for document verification then the guardian/ representative of the candidate may report to the Principal of DIET along with a written request by the verified candidate with all original documents and proof of hospitalization or death.
