NSIT UG 2023 Application Form:

To apply for the NSIT UG application form for undergraduate courses need to be filled by the applicants. The application process is an online procedure for which applicants need to apply through the official website.

  • First, go to the official website of the Netaji Subhas University of Technology.
  • Now, candidates can register by filling in the important information.
  • Once the registration gets over, fill out the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
  • After this, upload the scanned documents in the application form and submit them.
  • Take a print for further reference.

Application Fee:

Submit the application fee using online mode such as Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. The application fee is Rs 1200/- (including bank charges). Fee can be submitted via e-challan in any branch of SBI.

Eligibility Criteria:

Check the eligibility criteria below:

  • There is no minimum age limit to apply for any Undergraduate Courses.
  • Candidates must have cleared class X from ICSE, CBSE, or any other equivalent Board.
  • Applicants must have cleared class XII from the Science stream.
  • The Candidates must have opted for Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as their core subjects in XII.
  • General category applicants must have attained at least 60 % marks in class XII whereas marks relaxation for class XII applicants.

Merit List:

The merit list will be released through the official website and those who have cleared JEE Main examination will be selected in the merit list provided via authority. Candidates can check the category wise reservation criteria given below:

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) – 27%
  • Scheduled Castes (SC) – 15%
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST) – 7.5%
  • Defense Category (CW) – 5%
  • Differently Abled Persons (PD) – 3%
  • Kashmiri Migrants Seats (KM) – 1%

Cut Off:

The institute uses the cut-off marks to choose the applicants for UG courses. Cut-off marks comprise the minimum marks and those who have attained scores in JEE Main as equal or more than cut-off marks will be shortlisted in the merit list after the verification procedure.

Counseling Process:

The counseling process begins in November and JAC or Joint Admission Counseling will begin the counseling process in the online mode. Candidates will be called for the counseling process selected in the merit list. It is mandatory to pay counseling-cum-registration fee

Admission Process:

Based on the scores achieved in JEE Main Entrance test, admission will be provided to the applicants in NSIT and applicants need to follow the admission procedure. It is a 4 round process and applicants need to fill and lock their choices. The seta will be allotted to the applicants based on the scores attained in JEE Main rank list. The admission will be provided via a provisional letter from the official website of the authority.
