Bihar GNM 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

To attain admission in the nursing course, the Indian Nursing Council will decide on certain factors. To be eligible for the course, check the following qualification:

• Applicant must have completed 10+2 with English and must have acquired at least 40% at the qualifying exam and English individually from some recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from the State Open School recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. Preference is given to Science Stream students.

OR

• Candidate must have completed 10+2 with English and 40% of marks in the vocational ANM course from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing council.

OR

• Candidate must have completed 10+2 with English and attained at least 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from the recognized CBSE board/Centre.

OR

• Applicant must be a registered ANM with a pass mark.

Note: SC/ST category applicants will be given a relaxation of 5% in 10+2.

Result:

The admission result will be available on the official website. Individual colleges prepare a merit list of the selected applicants. Some of these provide unique IDs and passwords while others put a general list.

Counselling Round:

A counseling process is commenced after the result announcement. The process of counseling consisted of one or more rounds. Usually, 1 or 2 rounds are enough but more rounds may be commenced to fill the seats. The registration of the counseling procedure will take place on the stipulated date and time. Make sure to pay the registration fees and select the colleges in order of preference.

Once this is done, there will allotment of college based on the highest preference basis, availability of seats, and scores. Selected aspirants will report within a week.
