ECGC PO Recruitment 2024: Every year, the Probationary Officer (PO) recruiting procedure is held by the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC). The online test (objective and descriptive) and interview are the two steps of the ECGC PO Selection Process. To be hired for the position of ECGC PO, candidates must pass both exam stages.

Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any field from an Indian university that is accredited. The applicant’s age must fall within the range of 21 and 30 to be considered for the ECGC PO Recruitment 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are interested in working for ECGC as probationary officers must apply for the ECGC PO Recruitment 2022. Candidates must review the qualifying requirements before applying for the position.

• A candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan to appear for the exam.
• Candidates who belong to the Tibetan Refugee group who came over to India before January 01, 1962, can also apply for the ECGC PO recruitment exam.
• Candidates of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, are East African countries are also eligible to take the examination.
• Candidates should have a minimum age and maximum age of 21 and 30 years, respectively, to apply for the exam. The reserved category students will be given an age relaxation of 5 years.
• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university or institution to apply for the ECGC PO recruitment exam.

Exam Pattern

The ECGC PO exam pattern helps candidates understand the basic structure of the examination. Here are some crucial specifics regarding the ECGC PO Exam Pattern:

• The exam will be conducted in an online mode
• The question paper will include both objective and descriptive questions.
• The ECGC PO exam paper will consist of 200 questions with a total weightage of 200 marks.
• The duration of the exam (objective) is 140 minutes.
• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer
• The objective exam paper will have 5 sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge
• The descriptive exam paper will consist of 2 sections: Essay Writing & Precise Writing. Candidates will be given 40 minutes to attempt the ECGC PO descriptive paper.

Important Aspects of ECGC PO Exam Pattern:

• Except for the English language and descriptive paper, which will only be in English, the exam will be offered in Hindi and English.
• There will be five possible answers for each objective question, but only one of them will be accurate. You must “mouse-click” the appropriate choice. You will receive 1 mark for each accurate response, and as a penalty, 14 a mark will be taken away for each incorrect response.
• The applicant must choose the appropriate response to each objective question, or pick the option they believe to be the proper one. Next, select “Save & Next.”
• To be eligible for descriptive paper checking, each applicant must achieve a minimum score for each component of the objective test independently.

A few days before the exam date applicants who successfully applied will receive their ECGC PO, Admit Card. The ECGC PO Admit Card will be made available online on the organization’s official website.

Salary & Benefits:

The ECGC PO wage scale is INR 32,795 with yearly raises of INR 1,610 for the first 14 years of employment. Since August 2017, a pay scale adjustment is due.

The probationary officers are also entitled to benefits and allowances such as dearness allowance, reimbursement for house rent or lease, transportation allowance, healthcare benefits, newspaper allowance, meal coupons, reimbursement for mobile phone bills, furniture allowance, and household help allowance, etc.
