Rajasthan Polytechnic Application Form:

• Fill the online application form for participating in the Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission procedure.
• The online application is available on the official website in June.
• Fill the application form and fill the option form as well. Make sure that the options form mentions the name of the institutions, the name of the branch, and the code according to preference.

Application Fee details:

• The cost of the application fee would be Rs. 300/-
• Candidates need to submit the application fee through Online mode or via e-Mitra/CSC Kiosk.
• The application fee is not refundable.

Steps to apply for Rajasthan Polytechnic:

• Visit the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Rajasthan.
• Then click on, “Apply online” button.
• After that fill in basic details such as the candidate’s name, mail ID, phone number, etc.
• Registration no. & password will be sent to candidates registered ID & no.
• Now candidates must login using the given login credentials.
• Fill in other asked & required details as academic, qualification, etc.
• Upload passport size photograph & signature in JPG, PNG, or GIF format.
• Go through all the details & verify it.
• After verification, submit the application fee.
• Now a confirmation page will appear on your computer screen.
• Take its printout & keep it safe till future use.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates have to check the Eligibility Criteria before applying for the Rajasthan Polytechnic:

For Engineering Diploma courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must have completed class 10th or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Age Criteria: There will be no age limit.
• Mandatory Subjects: It is compulsory to have Science & Mathematics subjects in the qualifying exam and Candidates must have a score minimum of 35% marks.
• Other board examination will be valid only for Rajasthan, Ajmer, Kendriya Board, and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board.

For Non-Engineering Diploma Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must have completed class 10th or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for the non-engineering diploma course.
• Percentage: Candidates should score 35% marks in the qualifying exam.

For Engineering Lateral Entry Course:

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed Diploma Engineering, 12^th Science vocational/technical, 10 (+2 year ITI) with appropriate specialization, or 10 (+2) PCM from RBSE/CBSE Delhi or Equivalent.
• Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects will be compulsory in class 12th.
• Age limit: No age limit to fill the application form.

Merit List details:

Based on the application form, a category-wise provisional merit list will be provided to the authority. Candidates need to check their respective rank in the merit list from the website. Candidates are required to use the login details for going through the Rajasthan Polytechnic merit list. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the merit list.

Reservation Policy:

The reservation is followed in the following manner:

• Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) 21%
• SBC-NCL 1%
• Scheduled Castes 16%
• Scheduled Tribes 12%
• Girls 50%

Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission Process:

The Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission will be provided according to the seat availability into government /non-government polytechnic colleges. Candidates are requested to check the seat matrix via the official website.

According to the merit list, the exam conducting authority will declare the seat allotment result. The seats will be given to the applicants according to the choice of the forms which are filled and as per the seat availability in the college.

The seat allotment process will begin from August month. Candidates are required to visit the college along with the original documents for verification and pay the admission fee. The admission will be provided once the documents are completely verified.

Counselling:

Rajasthan Polytechnic counselling will be conducted through offline mode. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their filled preferences in the options form. The counselling will be conducted in various rounds. Candidates have to verify their documents at the time of attending the counselling.
