Sainik School Admission 2024: (AISSEE): The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the AISSEE 2024 entrance exam. The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is conducted to offer admission to Sainik Schools across the country. Through this exam, students get admission to classes 6th and 9th in all Sainik Schools. AISSEE is a national-level exam that is conducted every year. Sainik schools were conceived in 1961 by V.K. Krishna Menon to prepare students for the National Defense Academy. They prepare the students physically, mentally, and academically for getting entry into the NDA. It is established and managed by the Sainik School Society, under the Ministry of Defense. Here, the deserving candidates get a high-quality education that has no relation to the type of background they have. There are currently a total of 33 Sainik schools in our country.

Every year, the school releases vacancies for candidates to seek admission to the school. Admissions notification has been issued for this year as well. If you want to make your child’s career in defense, then you can fill out the Sainik School Admission Form. To get admission, an entrance test will be conducted.

Sainik School Admission 2024 Application Form:

All India Sainik School Entrance Test ( AISSEE) will be conducted in February 2024. The aspirants who qualify for SSEE can get admission to class 6th and class 9th. For more details regarding the admission process visit the official website. The application form will be made available on the official website https://sainikschooladmission.in/index.html.

Procedure to Apply for Sainik School Admission Form:

The Sainik School Admission 2024 Application form is made available online. The candidates interested keeps in touch with the official website. The instructions for filling out the application form will be provided there. The candidates check the eligibility criteria before filling out the form. The candidates can get a direct link to the application form on the official site. After that, they need to fill in all the necessary details asked in the application form and submit it. The steps are given below.

• Visit the Official website i.e, https://aissee.nta.nic.in
• On the Homepage, page click on ‘Application Form AISSEE 2024’
• Apply for Online Registration using Email ID and Mobile No.
• Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application No.
• Then upload the photograph and documents.
• Now Pay the application fee online.

Documents Required:

• Scanned images of Candidates’ Photographs (file size: 10 kb – 200 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
• Candidates’ Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
• CaCandidates’eft-hand thumb impression. (file size 10 kb -50 kb) in JPG/JPEG format. (In case of any eventuality of the left thumb being unavailable, right-hand thumb the impression may be used).
• Date of Birth Certificate.
• Domicile Certificate.
• Caste/ Community/ Category Certificate.
• Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Ex-servicemen, as applicable. (The certificates as detailed above: Filesize (100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG or JPEG format). (If the information given or documents uploaded are not correct or incomplete or cannot be corroborated with the required original certificates at the time of  3 admissions, the candidate is liable to be rejected and admission denied to him or her).

Sainik School Online Form Fee:

• The candidates belonging to the general and defense category: Rs.550/-
• SC/ST: Rs.400/-
• The payment can be done by Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Bank Challan.

Sainik School Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

For Class 6th:

• The student’s age should be between 10 and 12 years as of 31st March 2024. Admission is Open for Girls in All Sainik Schools for Class 6th Only.
• The Minimum Required Qualification is 05th Class and appearing students can also apply.

For Class 9th:

• The student’s age should be between 13 and 15 years as of 31 March 2024.
• The entrance test will be for boys’ candidates only for admission in class 9th.
• For the Sainik School Admission 2024 boys in the 9th class, they must be studying in class 8th.
• The admission will be based on the merit list prepared after the examination.

Exam Details:

• A written test will be conducted for students. The no of questions in an exam for 6th and 9th may change due to the change of format.
• The language in the exam will be the English/ local language of the state for class 6th and for class 9th it is only the English language.

The medium of the Examination:

Reservation:

• Out of the remaining, 67% of the seats are reserved for students from the State in which the Sainik School is located. Rest 33% left seats will be thrown open to boys from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population.
• 15% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes
• 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST).
• 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non Creamy layer (OBC-NCL) as per the central list.
• Out of the balance, 50.50% of the seats in the Home State/ UT and Other States/ UT quota, 25% of the seats are reserved for the wards of defense personnel and ex-servicemen.

Admit Card:

AISSEE 2024 Admit Card has been released on 11th January 2024 on the Official website. The admit card won’t be sent to the candidate by post. The candidate has to download it from the official site. The Admit card contains the details about the exam center and the exam date.

• On the Homepage click on Link ‘Download Admit Card – AISSEE 2024’
• A login page will open.
• Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
• Verify all the details and submit to download the hall ticket and take the printout for future reference

Answer Key:

Sainik School Society will release the answer key after the successful completion of the written test. Students can refer to the key to gauge their scores and based on their performance merit list will be generated. Many other sites also publish their answer key which can also be used as a source to tally the scores.

Result:

The result of the AISSEE will be released online on the web portal of Sainik school. The result is based on the scores secured on both of the papers along with the result of the medical test as an epitome of physical fitness. The merit list will produce soon after the results will declare to invite the students for admission to the school.

• On the Homepage, Find the AISSEE result 2024 link.
• Enter the application number and date of birth.
• Submit the details.
• Now, Download the NTA Sainik School entrance exam result 2024.
• Take a printout of the same for future reference

Cut Off:

The cutoff/merit list will be released after the declaration of the result. The merit list is based on the marks secured by the students in written tests, supplemented by the medical test done to assure physical fitness. The students who made it to the list are further approached to carry the admission process further.
