BHU Law Admission 2024: BHU Law Entrance examination is a university-level examination conducted by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). It is one of the reputed colleges.BHU was founded in the year of 1916 by Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya with the cooperation of personalities like Annie Besant. BHU every year organizes entrance exams like UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) and PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test). The entrance exam is conducted for providing candidates admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Previously BHU law entrance examination was conducted separately but now it has been merged with UET & PET exam. The candidates interested can fill the application form and get admission to post-graduation programs. Through the help of this article, candidates can get details about BHU Law Entrance 2024 including application, dates, eligibility, pattern, etc.

BHU Law 2024 Exam Date:

The application form will be made available in the last week of January. Candidates can apply for the application form before the last date of filing the application form. The details of the important dates regarding the examination are below.

For BHU UET:

LAW 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

LLB (Hons.) Course:

• The candidate should be passed B.A./B.Sc/B.Com (in 10+2+3 Patten) or any other degree from any recognized university.
• The candidate must have passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the examination.

B.A. LLB Course:

• The candidate must have passed/appeared in 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board.
• The candidate must have passed with minimum 50% aggregate marks in the exam (45% in case of OBC and 40% in case of SC/ST).

LLM/LLM (HRDE)/LLM (Under the special course of study) Course:

• The Candidate must have passed/appearing 3 years or 5 years of LLB from a recognized university
• The candidate must have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in LLB.

Ph.D. (Full Time) Course:

• The candidate must have to appear in the Common Entrance Research test (CRET) conduct by the university.
• The candidate must have qualified NET/JRF are exempted from CRET.

BHU Law Admission 2024 Application Form:

The Candidates applying for the application form must check the instructions provided before filling the form and only the eligible candidates must fill the form. The instruction to fill the form is provided below:

• The application form will be made available through online mode.
• Visit the official website to fill the form
• The candidates will have to register themselves by their email id and phone number.
• Aadhaar card will be mandatory to fill the application except for candidates of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya states.
• Fill the personal details like –name, father’s name, academic, communication details in the application.
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature
• The candidate is required to do the payment of the application fee.
• Submit the application fee.

Application Fee:

• General category: 500/-
• Reserved category: 250/-
• Candidates can pay the application fee through credit card/debit card/Challan.
• The fee once paid will be refunded.

Exam Pattern:

The pattern of examination of the BHU law entrance exam is given below.

• Mode of Examination: The BHU Law exam mode will be Offline
• Duration of Examination: 120 minutes.
• Language: English and Hindi
• Type of Questions: Objective type (MCQ).
• Total Number of Questions: In this BHU Law Entrance Exam the total number of questions will be 150.
• Total Marks: BHU Law Entrance the question paper will be 450 marks
• Marking scheme: 3 marks for each correct answer.
• Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Admit Card:

BHU Entrance Exam authority release Admit Card 14 days before the examination. Candidates can download the admit card through online mode from the official website. BHU Admit card contains details of the candidates like name, venue of examination. The candidate will be able to download the admit card by entering their email id or registration id. After downloading, students have to paste passport size photograph in the space provided on the printout of the admit card

Result:

The Candidates can check BHU results through online mode. The result will be declared in the 3^rd week of May 2024. Students can check their results by entering their roll number and password.

The university will also inform the candidate via email/SMS about the marks, overall merit, and category – merit. The qualifying marks will be decided by the Banaras Hindu University.
