UPCPMT 2024UPCPMT 2024: UPCMT stands for Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test which is a state level examination managed by Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University (DDU), Kanpur. This examination is for providing admission into courses like medical, dental, homeopathy, Ayurveda & Unani courses. Those who are interested to apply for the examination need to collect all the details mentioned below:

UPCPMT 2024 Application Form:

Fill the application using the official website of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University (DDU). You can collect an application form from the month of March till the month of April. Fill the application form using online mode.

How to Fill the Application Form?

  • First register yourself so that you can fill the application form.
  • Upload the documents in the application form and move for the final submission of the form.
  • Make sure for filling in personal details like name, date of birth, etc correctly. In the same way, fill educational details clearly and correctly as well.
  • Take print out of the application form for further reference.

Application Fee:

Make a payment of the application form using online mode and offline mode. If you belong to the General or OBC category then pay the amount of Rs. 1400/- and if you belong to reserved categories such as SC/ST then pay Rs 750/-. Make payment via modes such as Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking/e-Challan in any State Bank of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

Whether you are applicable to apply for UPCMT examination or not shall be decided by eligibility criteria. Here are the related details:

  • Candidate must be the domicile of UP and must have passed or appeared in class 10th and 12th from UP state.
  • Candidate must be of the age 17 as on 31st December at the time of admission.
  • Candidate must have completed class 12th or some equivalent examination from the recognized board.
  • Candidate must have passed the examination Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology, Physics, and Mathematics or some other elective subject with English.
  • You must have scored at least 50% marks (for General/OBC) and 40% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

Exam Pattern:

Exam pattern is an exam structure which prepares candidates for the upcoming exam.

  • There will be 200 questions in the paper that means 50 questions from each section.
  • The exam duration will be 3 hours.
  • The questions will be Objective Type
  • 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
  • Physics will have 50 questions for 50 marks.
  • Chemistry will have 50 questions for 50 marks.
  • Zoology will have 50 questions for 50 marks.
  • Botany will have 50 questions for 50 marks.

Admit Card:

Admit card will be provided to the candidates in the month of May. Download the admit card from the official website. Go through the details mentioned in the admit card before you download it. Make sure for carrying the Admit Card at the exam centre as it is a crucial document for every candidate.

Result Announcement:

The exam result will be announced in the month of May. Go to the official website and collect the result from the website. Use roll number and date of birth to check the exam result and avail admission into the programs you wish for according to the scores attained in the exam.

Counseling:

Counseling process will be commended for various programs such as dental as well as medical programs. The candidates those who are shortlisted will be called for counseling which will be done in three rounds. The seat allotment will be based on the merit list as well as seat availability. There will be a specific amount of Rs. 500 as a counseling fee. Along with this, make payment of Rs. 5000 as a security fee.
