Sainik School Lucknow Admission 2022: Sainik School Lucknow was established on 15th July 1960 and it was first set up in Sarojini Nagar which was few kilometers away from the state capital, Lucknow. It was the first Sainik School in India followed by the setting up of the other Sainik School under the Ministry of Defence. The Sainik School of UP was set up to provide high-quality education to selected candidates taking the help of military officers. The founding Principal of Sainik School Lucknow was Lt.Col.HRH Daniel. There is a total of 26 Sainik schools in our country presently and Sainik School Lucknow is one of them. UP Sainik School Lucknow Eligibility Criteria:

• For class 6th: The candidate should have passed 5th and the age should be between 10 to 12 years.
• For class 9th: The candidate should have passed 8th and the age of the candidate should be between 13 – 15 ages.
• The Admission will be based on the merit list prepared after the examination.

The Sainik School Lucknow Admission 2022 application form will be released by the first week of October. For getting admission an All India Sainik School Entrance Test needs to qualify by the candidate.  The candidates qualifying for AISSEE can get admission in class 6 and class 9. • The Application fee for General and Defence Category candidates will be Rs.550/- and for SC/ST, it will be Rs.400/-
