The application fee for IGNOU B.Ed 2023 Exam is Rs.1000/-. Make a payment of the application fee via modes such as debit card, credit card, or Net banking via a payment gateway.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Those who have successfully cleared graduation or post-graduation in the relevant stream such as Arts, Commerce, or Science with at least 50% marks can apply for the examination. In case, the candidate possesses a certain technical degree like B.Tech then it is important to clear the degree with at least 55% marks. There will be a marks relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates who have completed their class 10th along with ITT courses from some recognized board or institution with minimum marks can apply for the examination.
- Those who are trained as in-service teachers in elementary education or completed NCTE recognized teacher education programs through face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply for the exam.
- Candidates who have Indian nationality and hold a degree of graduation or post-graduation with 50% marks in Social Science, Science, Commerce, and Humanities can also apply for the examination.
- Those who are Indian and hold a degree of graduation or post-graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in technology and engineering & specialization in Mathematics and Science are eligible to apply for IGNOU B.ED.
Exam Pattern:
- The Exam will be conducted in Online Mode (CBT).
- The time duration of the paper will be 2 hours.
- There will be 100 questions in the paper.
- The paper will be 100 marks.
- The language of the paper will be English & Hindi.
- There will be Multiple Choice Questions.
- For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given and For each wrong answer, there is no negative marking.
- Part A includes Section 1 General English Comprehension with 10 questions for 10 marks. Section II comprises Logical & Analytical Reasoning with 20 questions for 20 marks, Section III consisted of Educational & General Awareness with 25 questions for 25 marks, and the last section IV will be Teaching-Learning & the School with 25 questions for 25 marks.
- Part B is based on Subject Competence. Section V consisted of Science/ English/ Mathematics/ Social Studies/ Hindi with 20 questions for 20 marks.

IGNOU B.Ed Syllabus:
The IGNOU B.Ed 2023 Syllabus of the examination comprises of the following topics:
- General English Comprehension will have topics such as Correction of Reading Comprehension, Sentences, Tenses, Vocabulary, Spelling, Articles, Synonyms, Preposition and Antonyms, etc
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning topics cover Coding-Decoding, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relations, Number and Letter Series, Logical Sequence, etc
- Educational and General Awareness are based on topics like social science (geography, history, and civics), Basic questions related to science, general knowledge, and the education system in India.
- Teaching- Learning and the School will cover the topics like Classroom Training, Child Development, Psychology, Knowledge of the Learning Process, Classroom Teaching, etc
- Subject Competence comprises of curriculum based on classes IX and X prescribed by NCERT/CBSE.
Admit Card:
The IGNOU B.Ed Admit Card will be released on the official site. Candidates can download the IGNOU B.Ed Admit Card before the exam date. If students fail to carry the Admit Card then the authority will not allow the candidates to attend the exam. The Admit Card will consist of the Exam Related information.
Steps To Download IGNOU B.Ed Admit Card:
- Visit the official site of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) i.e, ignou.ac.in.
- On the home page, search for the IGNOU B.Ed Admit Card link and click on the link.
- Enter the login details and click on submit.
- The IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam Admit Card will be displayed.
- Download the IGNOU B.Ed Admit Card.
- Take the printout of it.

Result:
Those who appear in the examination will be able to collect B.Ed Exam Results through the post. Those who have not received the result need to contact the regional director of that area. Most probably, the result will be out after five weeks of examination.
