Delhi TET 2023Delhi TET 2023: Delhi Teachers Eligibility Test (DTET) is organized by the Government of Delhi also known as Delhi TET, as per the formalities lay down by the central regulating authorities. DTET is for the eligible candidates who are aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I to V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Delhi. TET is a compulsory examination for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates to become a teacher in government and private schools. The examination is conducted every year by the Delhi government to recruit candidates for teaching posts. The candidates can appear for both the papers or for the one, as per their choice. The notification of Delhi TET 2023 will be released by the Department of Education.  Candidates may be facilitated to apply online for this examination. Delhi TET 2023 Application Form:

The candidates applying form need to visit the official portal in order to fill the application form. The steps to fill the application form are described below.

  • First of all the Candidate must access the official website for the application form.
  • The official web site of the Delhi Education Department is – www.delhiboard.org.
  • After that candidates need to look for Delhi TET Notification.
  • Click on the link directing to the Delhi TET application form.
  • Register yourself with valid email id and contact number.
  • Candidates then need to login using the unique registration no and password sent to their email Id.
  • After that fill the rest of the details asked.
  • Upload scanned images of signature, photographs, left thumb impression in the given format.
  • Pay the application form fee.
  • Recheck all details and then click on the submit button.
  • Take out the print out of application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applying candidates must read all the Delhi TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria before applying. Only the candidates eligible can fill the application form.

  • Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India and also a resident of Delhi.
  • Age: Candidates must be between 18-40 years of age.

For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5):

  • The Candidate must have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in the Intermediate exam.
  • The Candidate must have completed B.EL.ED or is studying in the final year.
  • The Candidate must have completed or in the final year of D.Ed (Specialization) in an institute recognized by RCI.
  • The Candidate must have completed or is in the final year of BTC/passed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • The Candidates must have completed graduation.

For Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6th to 8th):

  • The Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Intermediate exam.
  • The Candidate must have completed B.EL.ED or is in the final year.
  • The candidate in the final year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • A candidate in the final year of L.T. in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • A candidate in the final year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to RCI is eligible.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee for the Teacher Eligibility Test will be Rs. 200.

Delhi TET 2023 Syllabus:

  • The candidates interested in applying for this Examination must know the syllabus exam. The details of the syllabus are given below.
  • For Paper I: Child development, language, Mathematics, and Environmental Science.
  • For Paper II: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science.
  • The questions will be based on NCERT books.

Admit Card:

  • The admit card will be issued 15 days prior to the examination.
  • The candidates can download the admit card from the official website.
  • Login to the official website and click on the link of downloading Admit Card.
  • Download admit card by entering a name, date of birth, or application number.
  • Candidates are required to take a print out of Admit card
  • Carry it to the examination hall along with one ID proof.
  • No candidates without a valid admit card will be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Result:

  • The result will be released by the exam conducting authority on the official website.
  • The Result will release two months later of the examination.
  • Candidates will have to enter roll number and date of birth to check the result.
  • The candidate getting more than cut off marks you will be eligible to get a certificate of Delhi Primary Teacher vacancy.
