All About Sainik School:

Sainik schools came into being in the year 1961 to prepare boys & girls mentally, physically, and academically ready for National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, and other Training Academies for officers. The entire Sainik School system is managed by the Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence. The motive of School is to provide public school education within the reach of the common man. It also helps students to achieve an officer’s rank in the Defence Services of the country. Nearly, there are 33 Sainik Schools located in the nation. The school aims at enhancing the complete personality of students with stress on extracurricular activities.

Free Online Tuition for Class 6th Maths:

  • 10th November 2021: AISSEE 2022 Application correction has been started on 7th November 2021. Click here to edit the Application Form.
  • 5th November 2021: The last date to apply for AISSEE 2022 Application Form is 5th November 2021.

Application Fee:

  • The Application fee for General and Defence Category candidates will be Rs.550/- and for SC/ST, it will be Rs.400/-.
  • Select Debit/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI- Mode of Payment and Service Provider (Service/Processing charges per transaction & GST (as applicable) to be paid by the candidate) and complete the steps as instructed.

Procedure to Apply for Sainik School Admission Form 2022:

  • Visit the Official website i.e, https://aissee.nta.nic.in/
  • On the Homepage, page click on ‘Apply for AISSEE 2022
  • Apply for Online Registration using unique Email ID and Mobile No.
  • Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
  • Then upload the photograph and documents.
  • Now Pay the application fee online.

  •  Scanned images of the Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10 kb – 200 kb) in JPG/JPEG format
  • Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.

Sainik School Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to Class VI:

  • A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2022 for admission to Class VI, i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2010 and 31 March 2012 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2022-23.
  • The Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as boys. Candidates are advised to check the availability of seats for girls.

For admission to Class IX:

  • A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2022, for admission to Class IX, i.e. he/ she should have been born between 01 April 2007 and 31 March 2009 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2022-23. Admission to Class IX is not open for girls.
  • He/ she should have passed Class VIII exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.

Reservation:

  • 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC)
  • 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST) and
  • 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non Creamy layer (OBC-NCL) as per the central list.
  • 49.50% of the seats in Sainik School are reserved on the above mentioned lines.
  • Out of the balance, 50.50% of the seats in the Home State/ UT and Other States/ UT quota, 25% of the seats are reserved for the wards of defense personnel and ex-servicemen.

AISSEE 2022 Exam Pattern:

  • Examination Mode: Sainik School Entrance Exam 2022 Exam mode will be Offline (OMR Sheet Based).
  • Marks: Exam paper will be 300 Marks for class 6th & 400 Marks for class 9th.
  • Exam Paper Duration: The exam duration for class 6th will be 150 Minutes & the 9th class will be 180 minutes.
  • Negative Marking: No Negative marking is available for this exam.

Admit Card:

AISSEE 2022 Admit Card will be released in January 2022 on the Official website. The admit card won’t be sent to the candidate through a post. The Admit card has contains the details about the exam center and the exam date. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website using their application number and date of birth. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on a Date and Timing other than that allotted to him/her in his/her Admit Card.

  • On the Homepage click on Link ‘Download Admit Card – AISSEE 2022’
  • A login page will open.
  • Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
  • Verify all the details and submit it.
  • Download the hall ticket and take the printout for future reference

Sainik School Admission 2022:

Answer Key:

  • The NTA will display the Provisional Answer Key of the questions.
  • In case of any doubt in the answer key, candidates can challenge the Answer Key.
  • Candidates will be given an opportunity to make the online challenge, within a specified period, against the provisional Answer Key on payment of a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.200/- per answer challenged.

Sainik School Admission 2022 Result:

The result of the AISSEE 2022 will be released online on the web portal of Sainik school. The result will also be published on the website of the respective schools. Candidates will be informed through email and SMS about it.

Steps To Check NTA Sainik School Entrance Exam Result 2022:

  • Visit the official website of AISSEE – https://aissee.nta.nic.in.
  • On the Homepage, Find the AISSEE result 2022 link.
  • Enter the application number and date of birth.
  • Submit the details.
  • Now, Download the NTA Sainik School entrance exam result 2022.
  • Take a printout of the same for future reference

Merit List:

  • NTA will prepare the result sheet in the format/s required by the Sainik Schools Society. Schoolwise and category-wise merit lists (separately for boys and girls and for Class VI and Class IX) will be prepared by NTA and hosted on the NTA website.
  • The Initial Call List which will be published on the website of the respective schools, before the Medical Exam, will be in the ratio of 1:3.
  • The Final Merit List, published by a Sainik School on its website on the designated date after the Medical Exam, will include class-wise and category-wise roll numbers of candidates, in the order of their merit, reflecting Main List (equal to the total number of seats in the category) and Waiting List (remaining candidates).
