OUAT 2023: The Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) conducts the QUAT examination. The university was established in the year 1962 under the provisions of the Orissa Act, 20 of 1961 and has the triple functions of teaching, research and extension education. OUAT 2023 Application Form:
The application forms for OUAT 2023 will be filed by candidates via online mode. The instructions to fill the application form are below.
- Candidates must first visit the official web page ouat.nic.in
- Then check the notification properly.
- Select the link of the application form.
- Fill the details in the application form.
- Then after that submit the form.
- You will receive your login ID, password and application number via email or SMS once the form has been submitted
- Login using those details.
- Fill in the rest of the details in the application form.
- Fill in the Aadhaar card details.
- Next upload the scanned images of colored photographs and full signature of passport size.
- Make the payment of the required application fee.
- Therein the end takes out a print of the application form for future use.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) –candidate must have passed 12th with PCM subjects and with minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST & PH).
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry– candidate must have passed 12th class or its equivalent exam passed with science stream and at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST & PH).
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture– candidate must have passed 12th class or its equivalent exam passed with PCM or PCB subjects and at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST & PH).
- B.Sc (Agriculture) – candidate must have passed UG degree in B.Sc. (Ag.)/ B.Sc. (Hort.) from any recognized university.
- B.Sc. (Forestry) – candidate must have passed B.Sc. (Forestry) from any recognized university.
- B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)-candidate must have passed B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) or B.Sc (Agriculture Engineering & Technology) from a recognized university.
Age Limit
- The candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of examination
Reservation of Seats
- ICAR/VCI – 15%, SC – 8%, ST – 12 %, GCH – 5%, Ph. Handicapped – 3%; the seats reserved for SC & ST candidates separately are not interchangeable

OUAT Exam 2023 Application Fee:
- the application fee will be submitted via online mode
- Payment can be done through credit card, debit card or net banking and also through Common Service Centre (Jana Seva Kendra).
- The application fee will be 1350.
- The application fee will be non-refundable & non-transferable in any case.
OUAT Exam Pattern:
- The duration of the examination is an exam for two hours.
- The type of question will be multiple-choice.
- The examination will be a total of 200 marks.
- One mark will be awarded for each correct answer
- there is no negative marking
Admit Card:
The admit card for OUAT 2023 will be made available to the candidate’s online mode only through the official website. The candidates can download the admit card by using their login credentials. The candidates need to bring their printout of admit card and original ID proof along to the examination centre. In case of any discrepancy in the information mentioned on the OUAT Admit Card contact the authority immediately.
Result:
The result of OUAT will be declared on the official website of Odisha University. The result declared will include entrance exam marks, provisional and final weightage. The candidates can check the result on the official web page. To check results candidates need to enter their credentials like roll number, mobile number, and date of birth. The selected candidates will be able to participate and take part in the counselling procedure.
Counselling:
The OUAT counselling 2023 will be conducted by the university after the declaration of the result of the examination. A merit list will be processed for the counselling procedure.
The merit list that would be generated would be according to the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. The candidates are required to submit the required scanned documents for the counselling process.
As per the choice filled by the candidate, seats available, merit list, category, the seats will be allotted to the candidates accordingly.
