ACET 2023: ACET stands for Actuarial Common Entrance Test. IAI stands for the Institute of Actuaries of India and this organization commences entrance exams for the eligible applicants so that the best candidate can take up the right position. This was established in the year 2006 under the Actuaries Act. It proffers admission to the applicable candidates in Actuaries courses in India. The entrance exam is commenced at the national level for the applicants. This exam is commenced every year and gives opportunities to many for seeking an apt career way out.

Counseling process —-

ACET 2023 Application Form:

  • Get the application form for ACET 2023 from the official website using online mode
  • Register on the official website to seek the application form.
  • Fill the application form via online mode by entering important info and uploading the scanned images of the photographs and signature in the required
  • Take a printout of the application form after filling the form.
  • Those who are applying for the examination will pay Rs.3000/- as the registration fee for the entrance exam.
  • The cost of registration is inclusive of the cost of one sample question paper, indicative solution, and an online exam.
  • Make a payment of the application fee via online mode using a credit card, debit card, or by net banking feature.
  • It is important to note that the registration fee is non-refundable as well as non-transferable.

Application Fee:

The ACET Registration 2023 Fee will be Rs.3000. You can make payment via Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • There is no specific age limit for the candidate
  • Candidates must have completed HSC exams or some other equivalent examination Those who hold a degree in mathematical and statistical science can also apply for the exam.
  • The candidate must have English in HSC as it is mandatory.
  • Those who are in their final year can also apply for the exam.

Exam Pattern:

  • The entrance test for ACET will take place in online mode.
  • The Paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions.
  • The candidate will receive 1 mark for every correct answer.
  • There will be a deduction of 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
  • The candidate is required to complete the paper in 180 minutes.
  • The question paper will consist of 100 marks.
  • The candidate needs to go through 70 questions.
  • There will be two sections of the paper. Section I includes Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Interpretation; Section II includes English and logical reasoning.

Syllabus:

The candidate is required to prepare for examination from the following topics:

  • Mathematics: Notation and standard functions, Numerical methods, Algebra Differentiation, Integration, Vectors, Matrices.
  • Statistics: Permutations and combinations, Types of data, Measures of location, Measures of spread, Probabilities, Advanced probabilities, Discrete random variables, continuous random variables, Discrete Distributions, Correlation Regression.
  • English: Vocabulary based (Synonyms and antonyms), English usage or grammar, Sentence correction, Fill in the blanks, Cloze passage, Analogies or reserve, analogies, Jumbled paragraph, Meaning-usage match, Summary questions, Verbal reasoning, Facts/inferences/judgments, Reading comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Verbal reasoning.
  • Data Interpretation: Tables, Column graphs, Bar graphs, Line charts, Pie charts, Venn diagrams, Caselets.
  • Logical reasoning: Number and letter series, Calendars, Clocks, Cubes, Venn diagram, Binary logic, Seating arrangement, Logical sequence, Logical matching, Logical connectives, Syllogism, Blood relations.

Admit Card:

  • Admit cards will be provided via online mode through the official website of the university.
  • The candidate has been received an admit card on June 2023 for June Session.
  • Collect the admit card from the official website by using the login details during the time of registration.
  • Keep Admit Card with you at the time of examination along with a photo ID proof.
  • Carry this admit card for HSC exams along with the admit card during the time of examination.

Exam Result:

  • ACET 2023 Result has been released on January 2023 for the January session.
  • Candidates can catch the result through the official website of the university.
  • The scorecard provided by the exam conducting authority will be valid for three years.
  • Download the results from them by using the roll number and date of birth.
  • Take a printout of the downloaded result for further reference.
  • Keep the printout of the result for further reference.

Counselling Process:

  • The candidate will be called for further admission process for those who have qualified in the entrance exam.
  • Applicants are required to carry their educational documents for verification purposes.
  • Post declaration of the results, candidates will fill the student membership form and submit the form along with the payment confirmation form attested copies of the documents at the address mentioned below:
