This exam is conducted during May or June (Tentative). A total number of 672 seats are available in the six different AIIMS institutes. Out of which, 337 are available for the unreserved category, 181 for the OBC, 101 for the SC, 53 for the ST category respectively. The MBBS entrance examination for AIIMS will hold during the last week of May 2025 or the first week of June 2025 (tentatively). This online model test is conducted in two shifts, in the morning and afternoon from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at different centers. The center for the examinations notifies in the admit card provide to the candidate which must download as and when notified. The examination paper consists of 200 objective Multiple choices and reason-assertion questions covering physics, chemistry, biology, and general knowledge. The maximum mark awarded to the candidate is 200. Correct responses award 1 mark while a wrong answer attracts a negative marking of -1/3. More than one response consider a wrong answer.

To be able to fill the application form. A candidate must register online at http://mbbs.aiimsexams.org/ with correct academic and personal details. Registered email address and mobile number must be active. The password and user id generated for the registered email address are sent to the mail and mobile number.
The candidate must use these login credentials to log in and change the password. Further steps to complete this procedure include, making an online payment, choosing a city, updating qualification details, and uploading images of photographs, thumb impression, and signature. The online payment for the amount of Rs 1000 is made easy via different SBI online payment modes. When uploading the images, one must choose the right image with caution as the images cannot change once upload.
After the process of registration is successful candidates advise to take a printout of the registration form and then click the final submit button. It is important to click the final submit without which, candidates do not enroll for registration.
A Candidate appearing for the AIIMS examination must attain 17 years of age, by December 31st of the joining year. Candidates who are born after 2nd January 2001 are not eligible for the AIIMS 2025 examination. A candidate must have passed the 10+2 or higher secondary or any equivalent examination such as I.Sc or Senior School Certificate for CBSE. The candidate is required to have studied Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English in the main course and attained a minimum aggregate of 60%.
