AME CET 2024 is an admission test organized for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Courses. Some of the best institutions conduct these courses. All these institutions are sanctioned by the Ministry of Civil Aviation under the Indian Government. AME CET 2024 will take place in May 2024. AME CET 2024 is for those candidates who dream to nurture a vocation in flight conservation.

• Applicants must possess an intermediary graduation degree or must have a 3-year diploma in engineering with physics and mathematics as obligatory subjects.
• In this exam, candidates have to choose the cities, because 43 cities all over the India exam will be conducted.
• Applicants can opt either for online or offline mode to attend the exam,
• The entrance will be based on 90 multiple-choice questions to be answered within 90 minutes.
• Both English and Hindi language will be used as a medium for the entrance test.
• The curriculum for AME CET 2024 will include English, Physics, Chemistry, General Awareness, Mathematics, and Aptitude.
• Based on merit students will be judged. Eligible candidates will only qualify for the counseling round.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates willing to seat for AME CET 2024 must gratify the eligibility standards maintained by the leading authority Candidates must check the eligibility norms as mentioned below:

• Senior secondary qualified candidates with an engineering degree or 3years Diploma in Engineering with Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. Applicants can also have any higher degrees in any science-related subjects to be eligible for the test.
• Applicants with three years Diploma in any discipline under any reputed board or university can seat for AME Entrance Exam 2024.
• B. Tech. Applicants are also qualified for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or AME Course.
• Applicants must be within 16 to 28 years of age during the time of admission for this AME or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.
• A candidate can apply thrice for AME CET.

AME CET 2024 Application Form

The Application Form for AME CET 2024 can be completed both by online and offline methods. Depending on their suitability candidates can submit their application form. Applicants can refer to the below-mentioned points in order fill their application form both for online and offline mode.

Online Mode:

• Registration is the first step in applying for AME courses. Candidates need to go to the official website in order to fetch the application form for AME CET 2024. They need to upload all necessary documents related to personal and educational information. A passport size photograph with a signature needs to be uploaded as well.
• After the application has been filled candidates need to submit the application fees with it. Applicants can pay the fees by net baking or credit card or debit card. Candidates will get an approval message with a registration number in their registered mobile number and mail id. Applicants can take a printed copy of the same and save it for further use.

Offline mode:

• The official centers of AME CET will provide the offline application form.
• Candidates need to furnish all necessary details to fill up the form. They also need to stick a passport size photo on the application form. Now the filled application form along with the fees needs to be submitted to the below-mentioned address:

• Candidates will get an approval message with a registration number in their registered mobile number and mail id.

Application Fee:

Candidates need to submit an application fee along with the application form. For General male and OBC applicants, the fees are Rs.1000/-. All-female candidates and applicants belonging to SC/ST category has to pay Rs.800.

Exam Pattern:

• The AME CET Exam is organized for 1 ½ hours through both offline and online methods on a particular day.
• Candidates need to answer 90 questions on topics related to Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, General Awareness, and English
• The question paper will be both Hindi and English.
• For every right answer candidates can get 4 marks while 1 mark will be subtracted for each incorrect answer.
• The exam pattern will be different for senior secondary qualified candidates and 3-year diploma candidates.
• For senior secondary qualified candidates, there will be 15 questions each for English and general awareness. For Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry there will be 20 questions from each subject. Total marks for the entrance will be 360.
• For 3-year diploma candidates have to answer 15 questions each for English and general awareness. There will be 60 marks questions on the Aptitude test. Total marks for the entrance for diploma holders are the same as the senior secondary qualified candidates ie. 360.

AME CET Syllabus:

Senior Secondary qualified candidates will have a different syllabus to that of the 3 years diploma holders or B.Tech candidates. Both have to answer for 360 marks.

• Senior secondary qualified candidates have to answer 90 questions from Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry English, Mathematics, and General Awareness
• Diploma Holders will have questions on the Aptitude test, English and General Awareness.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be issued in April 2024 on the official website of the AME CET/ Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET). The admit card will be available via online mode for the entrance registered candidates. To download the admit card candidates must provide their mobile number and registration number as provided during the time of registration on the official website.

All details concerning the entrance like exam time, date, venue, and center name will be mentioned in the admit card. The AME CET 2020 entrance exam will take place in May, and all the successful applicants are advised to carry the AME CET 2024 admit card along with a photo id to the examination center. Without a valid admit card entry to the examination hall will be strictly prohibited. In case if a candidate finds any incongruity in the particulars of AME CET 2020 admit card, then, they can report to AME CET Secretariat about it.

Result and Cut off:

The official website will display the total score as well as subject-wise marks division acquired by each student after the announcement of the result.

Applicants attaining a minimum cut-off score will be asked to join the counseling session. Entrance qualified candidates will be informed via SMS or email. Candidates will have to go to the authorized centers where the counseling sessions are conducted in order to get the documents checked for authentication and also to confirm their seats.
