AMU School Admission 2022: Aligarh Muslim University was established in 1875 by Sir Syed Ahmed khan through the university act. AMU offers admission for the students of class 1^st, 6^th, and 9^th .citizen of India who is eligible. It is one of the oldest premier Central Universities of India with a unique and rich culture of its own.

The aim of establishing the university was to educationally uplift a larger section of the community. The parents of students who want their children to get an education from AMU can apply for an application form. AMU School Admission form will be available from the 2nd week of February. AMU School Admission 2022-23 Notification:

• 12th May 2022: The last date to apply for AMU School Admission 2022 is 12th May 2022.
• 27th April 2022: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has released the Application Form for admission in Class I, Class VI, and Class IX.

AMU School Admission 2022 Application Form:

Candidates are required to read instructions carefully before filling out the AMU School Admission 2022 Application. The guidelines to apply for the application form are mentioned below:

• Candidates can apply online mode.
• Fill up through online mode candidates need to visit the official website.
• After that click on the link showing “Apply online here”.
• Fill in the details in the application form carefully.
• Make the Payment of application fees online only through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card details.
• Take the Printout of the Application Form and keep it for your future reference.

Application Fee:

• The candidate can pay the application fee only through online mode (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card).
• Application fee for class I is Rs.550/-
• The application fee for class VI is Rs.600/-
• The application fee for class IX is Rs.650/-

AMU School Admission 2022 Eligibility:

Before filling out the application form the candidates must read the eligibility criteria properly. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for an application form. The eligibility criteria for admission to class I, VI & IX is as follows-

Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India, Foreign national, and children of Non-Resident Indians (NRI) who are eligible for admission to AMU school.

Age limit & Qualification:

Class I-

• The age of the Candidate must be between 5 to 7 years as of 31^st March 2022.

Class VI-

• The age of the Candidate must be between 10 to 12 years as of 31st March 2022.
• The Candidates must have passed class V from a recognized board.
• Note: For verification, the registration/recognition/or the affiliation number of the School should be mentioned on the qualifying examination’s mark-sheet or certificate.

Class IX-

• The age of the Candidate must be between 13 to 15 years as of 31st March 2022.
• The Candidates must have passed class VII from a recognized board.
• Note: For verification, the registration/recognition/or the affiliation number of the School should be mentioned on the qualifying examination’s mark-sheet or certificate.

AMU School Fee Structure:

The fee charged in all the Schools is as follows:

• Class I-VIII (Boys) Annual Amount of Fee Rs. 4320.00 and Fee per installment Rs. 1080.00.
• Class IX-X (Boys) Annual Amount of Fee Rs. 6720.00 and Fee per installment Rs. 1680.00.
• Class I-X (Girls) Annual Amount of Fee Rs. 4320.00 and Fee per installment Rs. 1080.00.

Note:

• The application fee shall be charged in four equal installments.
• An admission fee of Rs.25.00 is charged at the time of admission. The computer is taught in all AMU schools from class 1^st to 10^th with a fee of Rs. 100/- per month.
• Hostel and Food charges are extra, wherever applicable.
• An additional amount of Rs.200.00 per annum is chargeable towards the students’ benevolent Fund. 

AMU School Selection Procedure:

The candidates of Class I, VI & IX are selected based on an admission test. The Total Merit will have the following components:

• Written Test: 85 Marks
• Interview: 15 Marks

For Class Ist:

• The Written Test shall comprise 25 subjective/ objective type questions in English, Arithmetic, Urdu, and GK.

For Class VIth & IXth:

• Section-I: It will be of 25 marks comprising 25 Objective type questions (MCQ)of one mark each on Languages (English, Urdu & Hindi)
• Section-II: It shall be of 60 marks comprising 60 Objective type questions(MCQ) of one mark each with the following break-up:
• Mathematics: 30 marks
• Science: 30 Marks

Please Note: Candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in Section-I in the written test to be eligible for interview/ admission.

Documents to be Produced at the Time of Interview by Foreign National:

• Relevant pages of the passport showing Visa and the latest exit and entry date duly attested by the Indian High Commission/Embassy/Consulate.
• The NRE Bank Account Number in India with copies of relevant documents duly attested by the concerned bank.
• Any one of the following certificates issued :
• Certificate from the employer in the country of residence stating the employment position of NRI certified by the Indian High Commission/Embassy/Consulate.

Admit Card:

• The admit card will release a few days before the examination.
• The candidates can download the admit card from the official website.
• The admit card will be downloaded by using the application number and password/date of birth.
• Print out of AMU school 2022 Entrance Exam Admit Card is required to bring to the examination venue and also carry one ID proof along with you
• If any discrepancy is found in the admit card then immediately consult the exam conducting university.

AMU School 2022 Result:

AMU School results will be released in PDF format. It will indicate the result of the candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam. The candidate needs to visit the official website to check the PDF of the result.
