AP EdCET 2022AP EdCET 2022 stands for Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (B.Ed.). The notification of the examination will be announced by Sri Padmavati Women’s University, Tirupati. Applications are invited for those candidates who are intended to take admission to the B.Ed regular course which is of two years duration offered into the universities as well as affiliated to the colleges of education in the state of Telangana for the upcoming session 2022-23. AP EDCET 2022 Application Form:

After going through the AP EdCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria, candidates can perform the application related to formality. One needs to apply using online mode using the official website. The registration procedure will take place in two different phases. The first phase includes the payment of the application form and the other one includes the filling of the application and its submission. It is mandatory to take the printout and keep it safely for future reference

  • Visit the official website sche.ap.gov.in
  • The candidate will have to then create his/her profile using a valid email id.
  • Fill in the details asked like – Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Alternate Mobile Number, E-Mail ID, etc.
  • In the next step, the candidate will have to provide educational details such as passed examinations and obtained marks.
  • Then upload scanned images of signature, photographs, and left thumb impression in the given format.
  • After that fill the category from which you belong.
  • Make the payment of the application form.
  • The payment of the application fee can be done from a debit card/credit card/net banking.
  • Recheck all the details again.
  • Click on submit button.
  • Take a print of the application form and payment slip for future reference.

  • Those who belong to the General category need to make a payment of Rs.650/- as the application fee and those who belong to the SC and ST categories need to make a payment of Rs.450/-
  • One can make the payment of the fee at the any of the Andhra Pradesh centers or else by the payment gateway such as net banking, credit card, or debit card

AP EDCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate before applying AP EdCET (B.Ed) entrances test need to assure having the nationality of India.
  • Those who belong to Telangana state are applicable for applying for the examination. Also, these candidates need to satisfy the non-local as well as local status requirements laid in any of the Telangana Educational Institutions or 1974 as amended.
  • Candidates need to satisfy local as well as non-local status needs according to the TS GO MS NO 25 & 108
  • Those who have done with B.A., B.Sc Home Science, B.B.M, B.Com, B.C.A, can apply for the B.Ed. entrance test. Besides this, candidates are required to show the marks memo as well as pass certificate during the admission time.
  • Candidates are required to have gained at least 50% marks and those who belong to the category such as SC / ST / BC / PH in Master’s or the five years integrated course with at least 40% marks.
  • Those who have passed or who are in their final year of the examinations such as B.Tech or B.E with Maths or Science as one of the subjects can appear in the exam. Candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

EdCET 2022 Subject wise Eligibility is as follows:

  • Maths: Only those who have completed B.A., B.Tech, B.Sc., or B.E. as one of the subjects or the BCA candidates with Mathematics at the intermediate level as the group subject can appear for the examination
  • Physical Sciences: Those who have completed B.Tech, B.Sc., or B.E. and studied subjects such as Allied Material Sciences, Physics, or Chemistry as one of the subjects or those who have completed BCA with subjects like Physical Sciences which  includes Chemistry and Physics as the level of intermediate as the group subject can appear in the examination
  • Biological Sciences: Those who have completed B.Sc. or B.Sc. Home Science and have studied Zoology, Allied Life Sciences Part II subjects of Botany can appear in the examination. Other than this, candidates who have done BCA with the Biological Sciences at the level of intermediate can consider for appearing in the AP EdCET (BEd) exam.
  • Social Studies: Those who have completed B.C.A., B.B.M., B.Com./, or B.A./ with Social Sciences at the level of intermediate as the group subject can look for applying for the test
  • English: Those who have taken B.A. B.A Special English or M.A. English can appear for the examination

Age Limit: Those candidates who have completed 19 years of the age as of 1st July of the year can appear for the test

Exam Pattern:

The entrance will be conducted in Offline Mode. The question paper comprises 150 objective-type questions as well as multiple-choice questions that need to be completed in two hours. Every correct answer is awarded 1 mark but no negative marking will be there

  • Part-A:  Common questions for All from subjects like General English,
  • Part B:  Common questions for All from General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude
  • Part-C: Candidates need to choose one from so many subjects such as Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Zoology, History, Economics, Civics, and English.

Syllabus:

There are three parts of the AP EdCET 2022 Syllabus, that are Part -A, Part -B, and Part -C. Here we describe all parts of the Exam.

Part-A :

  • Reading Comprehension
  • Synonyms, Antonyms, and Vocabulary
  • Articles, Prepositions, Correction of Sentences, Tenses, Spelling, Voice.
  • Transformation of Sentences – Simple, Complex, and Compound, Direct, and Indirect Speech.

Part-B:

  • In this section, questions are designed for testing the candidate’s ability of the general knowledge of the environ all around and its effects on the society
  • In the test, questions included from India as well as the neighboring countries consisted of History, General Policy, Scientific Research, Ecology, Economics, Culture, Geography.
  • Through the questions in section B, candidates’ knowledge can be tested, thus questions connected to the current events, like the matter of the daily observation and experience of the scientific knowledge
  • Teaching includes characteristics such as an ability to communicate, skills to deal with children, and recognizing the individual differences.

Part-C :

In this, the syllabus of graduation level is included.

Admit Card:

AP EDCET Admit Card 2022 candidates can download from the official website. The hall tickets have been issued from September 2022. All details you can find in Hall Tickets regarding candidates and entrance exams.

Qualifying Marks:

The qualifying cut-off marks in the entrance test are 25% which means 37 from 150 marks. There are not prescribed marks for those who belong to SC and ST category.

Answer Key Details:

The government of Andhra Pradesh publishes the AP EdCET 2022 Answer Key. If you need to go through the answer key then make sure for visiting the official website. Candidates are required for calculating the marks once you get to know of the total answers marked correctly by the exam authorities via the answer key. However, if there are any issues with the key questions that one can complain agonist the trouble to the convener.

Result:

  • The result of the AP Common Entrance test result will be announced on the official website of the university.
  • Candidate can check their respective results through online mode.
  • To check the result aspirants will have to enter their roll no. and Date of Birth.
  • Candidate’s successfully qualifying exam will have to then attend the counseling on the scheduled date and location.
