AP EdCET 2023: Andhra Pradesh State Council of higher education conducts Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test also known as AP EdCET to provide admission to candidates in the regular B. Ed program every year. The university is one of the top-ranked universities in India. The entrance test is conducted by Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam on the behalf of Andhra State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. AP EdCET 2023 Application Form:
The mode of applying for AP EdCET is online. Candidates will have to go to the official website in order to fill the application form. Read the instruction given below and then fill the application form carefully.

- The candidate will have to then create his/her profile using a valid email id.
- Fill in the details asked like – Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Alternate Mobile Number, E-Mail ID, etc.
- In the next step, the candidate will have to provide educational details such as passed examinations and obtained marks.
- Then upload scanned images of signature, photographs, left thumb impression in the given format.
- After that fill the category from which you belong.
- Make the payment of the application form.
- The payment of the application fee can be done from a debit card/credit card/net banking.
- Recheck all the details again.
- Click on submit button.
- Take a print of the application form and payment slip for future reference.
Application fee
- The application fee for AP EdCET is Rs.600 and this amount is non-refundable.
- The application fee for the candidates of the reserved category is Rs.400.

AP EDCET Eligibility:
The Candidates applying for AP EDCET, are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the exam before applying. The details of the eligibility criteria are given below.
Nationality:
- Candidates should be a citizen of India.
- Candidate must be a Local/ permanent residence of Andhra Pradesh and should a possess domicile.
Age Limit Criteria:
- Candidates must have completed 19 years of age.
- There is no upper age limit.
Academic Qualification:
- The Candidate should have completed graduation or must be in the final year of graduation.
- The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.
- Minimum marks eligibility for the candidates of SC/ST category is 40% in graduation.
Exam Pattern:
- AP EdCET 2023 exam will be asked an objective question.
- Three sections will be for this exam.
- Exam mode will be offline.
- Each correct answer candidates will get 1 Mark.
- The total number of questions will be 140.
- Negative marking does not allow in this exam.

AP EdCET Admit Card
The AP EdCET 2023 Admit Card will be released at the beginning of April 2023. The applicants can download the admit card from the official website. It is mandatory for all the candidates to carry admit card to the examination hall. No student will be allowed to give an examination without any valid admit card. Candidates are required to bring a printout of their to admit card along with one ID proof. Admit Card consist of information like name, roll number, date, and venue of examination.
Result:
- The result of AP Common Entrance test result will be announced on the official website of the university.
- Candidate can check their respective results through online mode.
- To check the result aspirants will have to enter their roll no. and Date of Birth.
- Candidate’s successfully qualifying exam will have to then attend the counseling on the scheduled date and location.
Counseling Process:
- After releasing result candidate must reach the counseling centre at the asked time.
- Candidate must take the printout of the result for the counseling process.
- The result will be strictly based on performance in the Entrance test.
- The venue of counseling will be available on the website.
