AP PGLCETAP PGLCET 2022 is an entrance examination commenced by Sri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). It is a state-level examination that aims at providing admission to postgraduate programs. Those who successfully complete the entrance test will be able to seek admission in the postgraduate law program proffered by APSCHE. After cracking the exam, candidates will seek admission to the LLM course in several affiliated colleges of Sri Krishnadevaraya University. AP PGLCET 2022 Application Form:

  • Apply for AP PGLCET 2022 via online mode.
  • Enter all the details on the application form via registered accounts.
  • After filling the application form, submit the application form.
  • Make a payment of the application form via debit card/credit card or via AP online centers.

How to Apply for AP PGLCET:

  • First, visit the official website of Sri Krishnadevaraya University and get the application form for AP PGLCET 2022
  • Fill all the fields such as Name, qualification info, Hall Ticket Number and Marks obtained within the Qualifying Examination, Date of Birth, Birth District, Birth State, Hall Ticket Number of class X or equivalent examination, Local Status (OU/AU/SVU/ Non-local), Income of parents, Category and Application Number of category certificate, Special Category, Aadhaar Card details, Ration Card Details, Scanned copy of the passport size photograph and signature
  • Make payment of the application form
  • Attach the documents with the form asked for
  • Take print of the application form for further reference.

Application Fee:

  • Candidates need to submit the application fee via web mode.
  • First, go to the official website and click on the payments tab.
  • The application fee for AP PGLCET 2022 is Rs 850/-, processing fee applied at the time of payment includes Rs 59/-

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must be Indian.
  • Candidate must be possessed with the degree of B./B.L.
  • Candidate must have acquired a minimum 50% marks (for SC/ ST category-45% marks) within the qualifying degree.
  • Those who are appearing within the final years of B./B.L examination may also apply.
  • There is no specific age limit prescribed by the exam authorities.

Exam Pattern:

The examination will be a computer test mode. There will be 120 questions in the paper to be completed in a duration of one and a half hours.

Candidate must prepare for AP PGLCET 2022 exam from the syllabus mentioned below:

  • Jurisprudence: Rights & Duties, Custom Precedent & Legislation, Legal Sanctions, Schools of Jurisprudence, Persons, Obligation, Liability, and Property.
  • Constitutional Law: Fundamental Rights, Emergency Provisions, Amendments to the Constitution, Executive, Directive Principles of State Policy, Judiciary & Legislature, and Center-State Relations.
  • Labour Law: Trade Union Act 1926 and the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947.
  • Crimes & Torts:  Joint Liability, General Principles of Tort, State Liability, Consumer Protection Act 1986, Indian Penal Code, and Defences.
  • IPR & Other Laws: Environmental Protection Act 1986, Right to Information Act 2005, Copyright Act 1957, Information Technology Act, 2000, and The Protection of Human Rights Act 1993.
  • Mercantile Law: General Principles of Contract.
  • Public International Law: State Territory, Sea & Outer Space International & Municipal Law, Nationality & Statelessness, State Jurisdiction, Extradition, Asylum, Air, and United Nations.

Admit Card:

  • First, visit the official website.
  • Use login credentials and seek the admit card.
  • Admit card will be consisted of details such as candidate’s name, Exam venue, Exam date, Exam time, etc.
  • Take a print of the admit card and carry it along while visiting the exam centre.
  • The candidate will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without admit card.
  • Download the admit card from the official website as no offline mode is available to avail of the admit card.

Exam Result:

  • To check the result of AP PGLCET 2022, visit the official website
  • Download the result from the official website
  • Enter roll number to catch the glimpse of exam results.
  • The candidate’s rank is dependent on the scores attained in the entrance test.
  • Counselling process will start after the announcement of the exam result.

Counseling:

  • Candidates will be called for counseling after the result announcement.
  • The candidate will avail of the info about counseling via the official website.
  • Counseling process includes document verification, choice of the college, seat allotment, according to the rank.
