AP PGLCET 2022AP PGLCET 2022: AP PGLCET invites aspirants to apply for the PG law course or LLM in varied institutions under Andhra Pradesh University. In the month of May, this state level entrance test is conducted via online mode. Interested and eligible candidates can fill and submit their applications through online mode hopefully From March 2022 aspiring candidates can initiate their application procedure in order to apply for AP PGLCET via online mode. All applicants have to qualify the entrance exam as there is no other alternative existing to get selected for this.

AP PGLCET 2022 Application Form:

AP PGLCET 2022 will follow an online application procedure. The official website www.sche.ap.gov.in will display the application form for the same.

  • Candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee in order to get hold of the application form.
  • With payment reference id produced immediately after the application fee payment candidates can acquire the application form.
  • Candidates need to provide required personal details in the application form.
  • Academic details also need to be furnished in the application form.
  • Applicants are allowed to state two preferences for test centres in the application form.
  • Application forms must be submitted after it has been filled completely with valid details.
  • Applicants can keep a printed version of the same for future use.

Application fee:

  • AP PGLCET 2022 applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs. 850/-.
  • Via credit card/ debit card/ net banking online payments can be done and for offline mode, candidates can submit their fees in cash at the online centre of AP.

Eligibility Criteria:

The AP PGLCET 2022 aspirants need to follow the below-mentioned eligibility norms

  • Indian citizens fulfilling the requirement of local or non-local status as set by the academic institutions of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply.
  • Only LLB/ BL degree holders with 50% marks and SC/ST/BC applicants with a 45% score in the aggregate are eligible to apply.
  • Final year LLB/ BL degree candidates are also fit to apply.

Exam Pattern:

AP PGLCET exam will be via online mode for 90 minutes. There will be 120 questions for 120 marks. The question paper will be based on objective questions. The language of the question paper will be in English. For every correct response, 1 mark will be awarded. The 120 marks question paper will be divided into two parts. Part A will comprise of Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law for 40 marks. Part B will have topics on Crimes & Torts, Labour Law, Public International Law, IPR & Other Laws, Mercantile Law for 80 marks.

Syllabus

The entrance exam curriculum is as follows:

  • Jurisprudence will include Rights & Duties, Custom Precedent & Legislation, Legal Sanctions, Schools of Jurisprudence, Persons, Obligation, Liability, and Property.
  • Constitutional Law will include Fundamental Rights, Emergency Provisions, Amendments to the Constitution, Executive, Directive Principles of State Policy, Judiciary & Legislature, and Center-State Relations.
  • Labour Law will focus on the Trade Union Act 1926 and the Industrial Disputes Act 1947.
  • Crimes & Torts will deal with Joint Liability, General Principles of Tort, State Liability, Consumer Protection Act 1986, Indian Penal Code, and Defences.
  • IPR & Other Laws will include Environmental Protection Act 1986,
  • Right to Information Act 2005, Copyright Act 1957, Information Technology Act, 2000 and The Protection of Human Rights Act 1993.
  • Mercantile Law will cover General Principles of Contract.
  • Public International Law will cover State Territory, Sea & Outer Space International & Municipal Law, Nationality & Statelessness, State Jurisdiction, Extradition, Asylum, Air and United Nations.

Admit Card:

  • Admit card of AP PGLCET 2022 will be announced on the official website.
  • The admit card should be carried with the printed version of the filled application form to the exam centre on the examination day.
  • A candidate will not be permitted into the exam hall without the above-mentioned documents.
  • Admit cards will have all the details regarding the time date and venue of the entrance examination.
  • Applicants only have to download their admit cards from the official website as there is no option for offline mode for availing the admit card.

Result:

  • The official website will display the result of the selected candidates.
  • Depending on the score in the entrance test candidates will get their ranks.
  • After the results are announced applicants can download their results from the official website.
  • Candidates will be counselled depending on their ranks.
  • The official website will announce all details regarding the counselling sessions.
  • After all, documents are verified candidates will be enrolled in different colleges depending on their ranks.
