AP PolyCET 2024 stands for Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test which is commenced every year by the State Board of Technical Education or SBTET, Hyderabad. The purpose of the examination is to give admission to so many diploma level programmes that take place in private, Government aided, Un-aided polytechnics along with second shift Polytechnics in private un-aided engineering across the state of Andhra Pradesh. The notification of the examination will be released in March for those who want to seek admission to various polytechnic colleges. The information of every minute detail is here:

AP PolyCET 2024 Application Form:

Here candidates can check the AP PolyCET Application Form. It’s all about the Online Application Form & Registration Fee Details.

• Candidates can check the official website, where they can fill out the application form through Online Mode
• This year candidates cannot fill the form Offline mode.
• Every year AP PolyCET online application form fill the Last week of March
• The last date will be the application form submit the second week of April.
• After submitting all details candidates keep the printout for future use.
• Do not submit the Application form Offline Mode.

Registration Fee Details: Candidate must make payment of Rs 330 /- towards for application as well as prospectus fee. You can make the payment via any of the modes including Online /Credit/debit Card/ or Netbanking modes.

Steps to apply for AP PolyCET 2024:

Candidates are required to apply using the online mode. There is no other mode available except this mode. Here are the steps to apply for the test:

• First of all, go to the main website.
• Then make payment of the application fee with necessary details such as name, Date of Birth, Contact number, and so on.
• After this, fill the application form with correct details like address, education info, and so on.
• Then upload the scanned colored photo of size 30kb – 20kb and the Signature of size 30kb – 15kbin JPEG format.
• It is recommended to take a printout of the application form for future reference.

AP PolyCET  2024 Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• There is no specific age limit.
• Candidates must have passed 10^th or appearing candidates can also apply for the exam. Those who attain at least 35% marks in class X or some equivalent exam may appear in the entrance test.
• Candidates belonging to NIOS/ APOSS/ CBSE/ ICSE/ OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. Should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with the minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.

Exam Pattern:

• The exam will be commenced via online mode.
• There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
• The exam duration will be for 2 hours for every section.
• The Question paper consists of 120 questions with a choice of four responses for each question with only one correct response among them.
  • 50 Questions in Mathematics for 50 Marks.
  • 40 Questions in Physics for 40 Marks.
  • 30 Questions in Chemistry for 30 Marks

Syllabus:

AP PolyCET Exam syllabus consisted of various topics from subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The questions will be asked from the syllabus of classes 9th & 10th from the Andhra Pradesh (AP) board. Some of the basic topics from each subject will be as follows:

• Physics: Units & dimensions, work, elements of vectors, power & energy, kinematics & friction, the reflection of light, etc.
• Chemistry: Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, solutions, fuels, acids & bases, environmental chemistry, etc.
• Mathematics: Algebra, trigonometry, number system, sets, mensuration, probability, etc.

Hall ticket:

The hall ticket will be provided in April. Download the hall ticket via online mode. Do not expect to receive a hall ticket from the post.

Result:

To check the result related details, make sure for using the main website. Results can be attained by simply entering the hall ticket number via the official website. The result will show the candidate’s name, roll number, examination center, mark info, and other details. Make sure for seeking the printout of the result for further reference

Counseling:

The counseling, as well as seat allotment, is purely an online process. This is why the candidate is required to register online for receiving counseling-connected information. Once this is done, candidates will be given a call for certificate verification and various web options. Once seat allotment is done, download the seat allotment order and report to the college. The counseling procedure has consisted of two steps process such as certificate verification as well as choice filling. The verification procedure will start in May. Candidates need to fill one or more than one college or course to seek admission. The seat allotment is done based on merit list, seat availability, and category. One can download the allotment order and report about the allotted institution for confirmation of admission.
