Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test is conducted every year so that eligible candidates can take admission into various courses of engineering as well as non-engineering courses. AP POLYCET Application Form:
- The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Application form will be released via online mode.
- Fill out the application form with all the details
- Upload the scanned photos and signature along with filling out the application form.
- Submit the application form by the month of July.
- Keep print out of the application form for further reference.

- Make the application fee submission via online mode.
- Submit fee via various modes such as net-banking/ Meeseva/payment gateway/Helpline center.

Steps To Apply For AP Polycet:
- Visit the official site i.e, polycetap.nic.in
- On the home page, click on the AP Polycet Application Form.
- Then Register and fill the AP Polycet Application Form.
- Upload the documents.
- Pay the Application Fee.
- Then click on the submit button.
AP POLYCET Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must have a valid domicile of Andhra Pradesh State.
- There is no specific age limit.
- The candidate is required to clear SSC or some equivalent examination.
- Candidate must have cleared in the subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- The candidate must attain at least 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Those who are appearing in the examination can also apply for the exam.
Exam Pattern:
- The examination will be commenced in the offline mode.
- The exam duration will be 2 hours.
- There will be multiple-choice questions in the question paper.
- Overall there will be 120 questions.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The candidate has to answer 40 questions in the subject Physics, 30 marks questions will be from Chemistry and 50 marks will be from Mathematics.
Syllabus:
AP PolyCET Exam syllabus consisted of various topics from subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The questions will be asked from the syllabus of classes 9th & 10th from the Andhra Pradesh (AP) board. Some of the basic topics from each subject will be as follows:
- Physics: Units & dimensions, work, elements of vectors, power & energy, kinematics & friction, the reflection of light, etc.
- Chemistry: Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, solutions, fuels, acids & bases, environmental chemistry, etc.
- Mathematics: Algebra, trigonometry, number system, sets, mensuration, probability, etc.
Admit Card:
- The AP PolyCET Admit Card can be acquired from the online mode. You will receive admit card after submitting the application form.
- Enter details such as admit card number of class X, date of birth, passing year of class X, and so on very carefully.
- Carry the admit card at the exam center as it is the most important document that the candidate needs to carry along with himself/herself.
Answer Key:
The exam answer key will be released via online mode after the exam is commenced successfully. It will be an ease for the candidate to make out the scores through the released answer key. You can avail answer key by the month of May.
Exam Result:
Fetch the result from the official website using online mode. Most probably the result will be announced in the month of May. The marks acquired by the child will help in assigning the rank and this will further help in the selection process. As soon as the results are announced, download and check the OMR sheet.
Cut-Off:
Those who belong to the general category are required to attain at least 30 marks out of 120. On the contrary, there will be no cut-off for SC/ST categories candidates. Cut-off marks are actually the minimum marks that every candidate should attain for passing the exam.
Counselling:
The admission into polytechnics consisted of Web Counseling which includes certificate verification & choice filling. The verification of the certificate will begin from the month of May. Candidates can fill in more than one choice of the colleges as well as courses for seeking admission. The seat allotment is based on the merit list, availability of seats & category.
