APTET 2022 stands for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test which is organized by the Higher Education Board of Andhra Pradesh. This is the state level eligibility test to test the ability of the candidates to become the teacher in Primary (1st to 5th) and Upper Primary (6th to 8th) schools in Andhra Pradesh. APTET 2022 Application Form:
Those who wanted to apply for APTET 2022 will collect an application form from the official website. Make sure to go through the instructions mentioned in the application form carefully before applying. Steps for application form:
- Go to the official site www.cgg.gov.in
- Then make a search for the Application of APTET.
- Choose the link of “apply now”.
- Register yourself by filling details in the application form.
- Upload scanned images and documents in the specified format.
- Go through all the details and submit the form.
- Make fee payment of the application.
- Take print out of the application form.
Application fee:
- Make a payment of the application fee Rs-250/- This amount will be the same for all the candidates despite any specific category.
- Payment can be done via online mode using credit card/debit card etc.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate’s minimum age should be at least 18 years and maximum of 40 years.
For Primary Teachers:
- Candidates must be the citizen of India.
- Candidates must have successfully passed Intermediate /Senior Secondary with 45% marks and pass in or pursuing the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
For Upper Primary Teachers:
- Candidates must have successfully cleared BA / B.Sc / B.Com…Degree with minimum 50% marks (BC / SC / ST/ PH for 45 % marks) and clear B.Ed course or must have done Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).
Or
- 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with 50% marks, in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks will be 45%.
Or
- Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects or Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) or Graduation in Literature or Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

APTET Syllabus 2022:
The syllabus consisted of topics such as:
Child Development And Pedagogy: Development Of Child, Pedagogical Concerns, Understanding Learning
- Language I: Hindi
- Language II: English
- Mathematics: Geometry, Algebra, Menstruation, Arithmetic, Number System, Sets, Data Handling
- Environmental Studies: Our country (India), Indian constitution, My Family, Our Body – Health – Work & Play, Cleanliness, Our Food, Shelter, Earth and Sky, Plants and Animals, Air, Our State (Andhra Pradesh), Water, History and culture of India
Exam Pattern:
The paper will be divided into two parts – Primary Level (Class I to V) will be Paper 1 and Upper Primary Level (Class VI to VIII) will be Paper-II.
The exam duration will be two and a half hours.
There will be 150 questions in the paper. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
The paper will have objective type questions.
Structure of Paper-I:
- Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Language II (English) will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
Structure of Paper-II:
- Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Language II (English) will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies will have 60 questions for 60 marks.
Admit Card:
- The Admit Card will be issued by Andhra Pradesh TET Examination. Go to the official website to get the admit card.
- First of all, visit the APTET official website
- Then, click on the link of the “admit card” download.
- Enter application number and password/date of birth.
- Click ‘Submit’ button
- Admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download and take print of the APTET hall ticket
Andhra Pradesh TET 2022 Result:
The result of APTET 2022 will be announced via online mode. Go to the official site www.cse.ap.gov.in., choose the direct link to the result present in the site. Enter Roll Number to check the outcome of the exam. A cut off list will be prepared after announcement of the result. Those who successfully clear the examination will get pass certificate.
