Army Public School Recruitment 2023: Army school recruitment program is conducted by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) through an online screening test for hiring teachers for all the government schools of India.AWES conducts online screening tests for the recruitment of Primary Trained Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in 137 Army Public Schools located in various cantonments and military areas all over India. There are currently approx. 8700 teachers working in these schools, out of which a large number get turned over every year due to various reasons. Candidates qualifying for this exam are eligible to get teaching jobs all over India in government schools.

Army Public School Recruitment 2023 Application form:

All the interested candidates have to fill the application form online through the official website of the Army Welfare Education Society http://aps-csb.in/ www.awesindia.com. The application form for the army school teacher recruitment program is mostly released in the month of January.

AWES Recruitment 2023 Application Fee:

All candidates have to pay an application fee in order to complete the process of application form filling. Candidates willing to apply for Army Public Schools PGT /TGT/ PRT teacher recruitment 2023 will have to pay an application fee of 385rs. The application fee is the same for all category candidates. The candidate has to pay the application fee online through credit card, debit card, or net banking. The application form is only accepted via online mode.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have a Master’s degree/ PG in any subject with at least 50% aggregate marks for AWES PGT applicants whereas for AWES TGT candidates who are graduates and have completed their B. Ed degree with at least 50% marks is eligible to apply for Army School Teacher Recruitment program. Moreover, AWES PRT candidates should have one of the B. Ed Degree/ Four Year Integrated Course/ Two Year Diploma from any recognized institution.

Age Limit:

Candidates applying for NCR School from TGT and PRT must be below 29 years of age and for PGT applicants must be below 36 years of age. New applicants/freshers must be below 40 years of age and experienced candidates must be below 57 years of age.

AWES Army School Recruitment Exam Pattern:

Candidates applying for Army Public School PRT will be tested on the basis of General Awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology, Inclusive education, IT. The question paper will be of a total of 90 marks for completing which candidates will get 1:30hrs. However, candidates applying for the APS TGT/PGT exam will have two parts in their question paper. In the first part, candidates will be tested on the basis of the same subjects as mentioned above and in the second part candidates will be tested for the subject-related questions. This question paper will be of maximum of 90 marks and candidates will get 3hrs to complete the question paper.

Exam date, Admit Card & Result:

The exam for Army School recruitment program is mostly conducted in the month of February. Candidates can collect their admit card few days before the exam date. Results will be declared in the official website few days after the final exam.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in three important rounds namely an online screening test (OST), personal interview (PI) and evaluation of teaching skills. Candidates will be appointed in the post of government school teacher only if they clear all three rounds.
