Ashok Hall Girls Residential School Admission 2023: Ashok Hall Girls’ Residential School was established by the B.K.Birla Group the year 1993. The school is set in a sophisticated and minutely planned 25-acre campus in Ranikhet in the state of  Uttarakhand. The school is one of the best residential schools in the country. The school is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, and is a member of the Indian Public Schools Conference. This school offers excellent extracurricular activities like compulsory golf and horse riding, apart from other sports activities.

Ashok Hall Girls Residential School 2023 Application Process

  • The Registration process for admission usually begins in the month of December.
  • The prospectus and Registration form can be downloaded from the website ahgrs.net
  • The details which are necessary to be submitted are provided in the registration form.
  • The submission of the registration form does not guarantee admission. Applicants are required to appear for a stringent admission test.
  • The date of the admission test is communicated at the time of registration.
  • The venue for the admission test can be chosen from the test centers at either Kolkata or Majkhali (Uttarakhand).
  • It is mandatory for candidates to provide transfer certificates from the school that they last attended.
  • The admission process starts in Class IV.
  • For classes from Class V to Class XII, admission is subject to vacancies.
  • The admission to Class XI is held as provisional till the time the Board results are declared and the candidate has to pass class X for her admission to XI to be held as final.
  • A campus tour and an interactive session are offered to prospective students and their parents or guardians by the school to give admission seekers a firsthand feel of the school’s facilities.

  • It is mandatory for candidates to register themselves before they can undertake the Admission Test.
  • The registration form has to be submitted along with a registration fee of Rupees Twelve Thousand.
  • The registration fee is payable by A/c payee Bank Draft only in favour of Ashok Hall Girls’ Residential School which should be  payable at either at Majkhali in Uttarakhand or at
  • The Registration Fee once paid, is not

Eligibility Criteria:

Ashok Hall Girls’ Residential School eligibility criteria Admissions to any class from Class IV to Class XII is that the candidate should have passed the previous class from a recognized school. The admission would then depend on her performance in the admission test. The admission to class XI is provisional and the admission is finalized after the candidate clearing the Class X board exam.

Syllabus:

The Ashok Hall Girl’s Residential School is affiliated to the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination and the admission would test the applicant’s ability to cope with the syllabus of the class to which she is seeking admission which could be anywhere from class IV to Class XII.

It’s a Council of Indian School Certificate Examination affiliated school and the subjects taught in the curriculum are Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Civics, Economics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Political Science, Sociology, History, Computer Science and Health Education. The students of classes XI & XII are required to study one language and four elective subjects. The Admissions test is designed according to the pattern of the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination syllabus and the test depends on the class to which the candidate is applying.

Admit Card:

The date and venue of the admission test along with all other necessary details are communicated at the time of registration. Admit card, if any, required will be given at the time of registration.

Result:

The admission process is irrespective of any caste, creed, religion, etc. The result of the admission procedure is based on merit and a list of selected candidates is made available.

Cut Off:

While there is no stipulated cut-off, it is expected that the candidate applying to any class from class IV to class XII should have passed the previous class. The only exception would be admitted to class XI, where the candidate can be given provisional admission before her board examination results of the Class X standard. The candidate will be given final admission to class XI only after her tenth standard board examination results.
