Assam B.Sc Nursing 2023: Assam B.Sc Nursing examination is conducted by The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Assam. Srimanta Sankerdeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) Assam has released admission notification for session 2023. From September onwards the merit list will be displayed on the website and then eligible candidates can apply. They offer admission for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It is state level examination. Entrance examination dates are to be announced soon. Assam B.Sc Nursing 2023 Application Form
The availability of the application form starts online tentatively in the month of October. Due to the covid outbreak, it might have changed according to the officials so; candidates have to suggest going through official notification regularly. The last date of the submission and form correction will be done till next month. Important points should be following during the form filling procedure which is as follows:
- The application form will be available on the official website.
- Candidates can fill up the application form through the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education Assam.
- Register credentials like personal details mobile number and valid email id.
- After that, you will get login ID and Password.
- Applicants need to read all instructions related to form filling carefully so that it will be easy to fulfill it.
- In the application form, you will have to fill in your personal details, educational details, etc.
- Upload scanned qualification documents in specified size and format.
- Upload your passport size photograph and signature in a specific size and jpg format.
- After that pay an online fee by using net banking, Credit card/ Debit card.
- Take a quick review and submit your credentials.
Application Fee:
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee before the last date of form submission. It can be paid online by using Net Banking, Credit Card/ Debit Card, or other UPI payment services. The application fee for B.Sc. Nursing for is Rs. 1200/-
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only female candidates can apply for this examination.
- Candidates across the country can apply.
- Education qualification is must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in PCB as the main subject from recognized Board.
- For SC/ST candidates must have passed 10+2 with 40% marks in PCB as main subjects from recognized Board.
- Age criteria for General Category are 17 to 24 years and exemption of 3 years for SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
Exam Pattern:
- The examination is based on the offline mode.
- It consists of three papers in which paper 1 & 2 is compulsory for the B.Sc candidates and paper 3 is only for D.Pharma.
- Questions are Multiple Choice.
- The total time duration of the examination is 2 hours.
- Class 12th syllabus will be covered in the examination.
- For each correct answer candidates will award with 1 mark and 0 marks will be awarded for incorrect answers and unattempted.

Exam Centre:
There are various entrance examination centers are chosen by the university. Candidates can choose the examination center at their convenience. The following list of centers are as follows:

Result:
The result of the examination will be released after the examination has been done successfully. They will prepare a merit list on the basis of qualifying marks candidates have got. Candidates can check the result through online by using their roll number and password. University will be uploaded the result on the website. After the result merit list will be displayed on the website as well.
Answer key:
Once a result has been displayed the answer key of the question paper is also displayed by officials after one week of the examination. Candidates can check and download the answer key by using login credentials. If there is any objection then it can be resolve by the authority and the fresh answer key will be displayed again on the same portal.
Selection and Counseling Process:
After the result declaration, the process of selection has been started. Selection will be based on the basis of qualifying marks candidates secured in the examination. Selected candidates will call for the counseling.
- On the basis of the merit list selected candidates to call for counseling process
- There are two or three rounds of counseling
- In the counseling rounds, candidates will require following documents
- High school and Intermediate mark sheet and passing certificate
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Transfer and Migration Certificate
- Caste Certificate
- After that seat allotment of the has been started
- Seat allotment letter will be upload on the website and candidates check it and join at the given reporting time.
