Assam JLEE 2023: Assam JLEE (Assam Joint Lateral Entry Examination) conducts every year for selecting applicable candidates to various posts.  Assam Science And Technology University has released applications for Assam JLEE 2023. Assam JLEE is commenced for lateral admission courses such as BE/B.Tech in participating institutions. Assam JLEE 2023 Application Form:

Those who have checked the eligibility criteria and find themselves applicable to apply may proceed further with the application process. Application Fee:

The application fee is an important part of the application form. Make a payment of the application fee Rs. 1000 via online modes such as debit cards/credit cards/ net banking. Payment can also be made via offline mode through the State Bank of India.

Assam JLEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are recommended to check the eligibility criteria before applying for Assam JLEE 2023. Given below is the comprehensive info for the same:

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• Those who have successfully cleared 3 years of Diploma from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under the State Council of Technical Education (SCTE) may apply for the examination.
• Candidate must have attained a minimum 45% marks in the Polytechnic course and 40% for those belonging to SC/ST category
• Those who are appearing in their final exam may also apply for Assam JLEE 2023 but must be possessed with the original mark sheet and passing certificate on the day of admission.

Exam Centres:

While filling the application form, applicants will get a chance to choose the Exam centre. The exam will be commenced in two examination centres – Guwahati and Jorhat. The number of examination centres may change depending on the number of applicants. Candidates should move to the allotted examination centre on the scheduled date and time.

Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern will help applicants to avail of complete info about the question paper. For this purpose, check the official website. You will come to know about question paper type, the total number of questions, etc. The detailed exam pattern is given below:

• The Paper will have sections such as Mathematics, Computer, Graphics, and Branch of Engineering

• The mathematics section will have 30 questions
• Basic Computer will have 10 questions
• Graphics will have 10 questions
• The branch of Engineering will have 50 questions

Admit Card:

A Way to Enter in Examination Hall: Exam conducting authority will release admit card from the official website. Those who have submitted the application form successfully will be able to receive the admit card on the fixed date. The admit Card will consist of important information such as the applicant’s name, roll number, exam date and time, and examination centre. The candidate is not allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.

Steps to download Admit Card for Assam JLEE 2023:

1. Go to the official website.
2. Use login credentials such as application number and password to download admit card
3. After successful login, download the admit card
4. Take a print out of the application form.

Exam Result:

Go to the official website to check the examination result. It is also suggested to check the date for the release of the result via the official website. Steps to download exam result are as follows:

1. Go to the official website and click on the “Result” link.
2. The link will take you to the page of the result window.
3. Log in using the name/application form number and password.
4. After a successful login, the exam result will appear on the screen
5. Take a print of the result for further needs.

CUT OFF:

The admission process is based on the scores attained by an applicant. The exam conducting authority will release the cut on the official website. Cut off denotes the minimum marks candidate should attain to seek admission. The cutoff of each branch/ institute will not be the same. Those who meet the prescribed cut off will appear in Assam JLEE 2023 counseling round.

Counselling and Seat Allotment:

Counseling and seat allotment will be done in offline mode. Candidates will visit the counseling venue on a fixed date and time. Mostly counseling is done in the last week of July. After each round of counseling, a merit list will be released based on different factors and seats will be allotted to candidates in different institutes.

• Online registration – Candidates appearing in counseling will pay the registration fee of Rs. 600.
• Choice filling – Candidates will elect the preferred course and branch and candidate is required to do it carefully.
• Certificate verification – Candidates will carry all the relevant documents to the allotted centre for certificate verification. Make sure to reach the counseling venue on time.
• Seat allotment – Exam conducting authority will allot the seat to the candidates based on the choices filled by them. After the seat allotment, the candidate will pay the admission fee at the allotted institute.
