Assam JMEE 2022: Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination or the JMEE is an entrance test that is conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University. This examination is conducted in order to get an examination into the 1st-semester class for the MCA Programme of Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati.

• In order to do so, the candidate will first have to get into the official website
• The application forms are available on the website from the month of April/May
• It is important for the candidates to fill up the application form very carefully and correctly.
• The candidates are also recommended to take a print of the filled up application form in order to communicate further.
• The students can also submit the application fee online

When the candidate is filling up the application form, it is necessary for him or her to follow the steps mentioned below:

• Before starting to fill up the details, it is necessary to fill up all the important instructions carefully before proceeding to the next details.
• After this, the candidate will have to fill in the necessary details in the application form that is available online.
• After this the candidate will have to upload a scanned copy of the signature along with the photograph of the candidate.
• The candidate will then have to click on the “submit” tab but before doing so it is important for the candidate to carefully check out the information written on the different pages.
• Once the candidate is registered successfully, the candidate will get an application number. This number will be sent to the registered mobile number. This is a very important log in credential and so make sure that you note it down.
• After following all these steps, the candidate will have to pay the application fee.

It is not necessary for the candidate to send the hard copy of the application form. It is, however, important to take a print out of the application form and keep it with the candidate for future reference. Once the form is submitted, the mistakes cannot be corrected. It is, therefore, necessary for the candidate to check the form carefully before submission. In case there is any mistake found in the form, the form will be rejected.

When uploading the photograph and the signature, it is important for the candidate to follow the format and the specifications mentioned by the authority. Before applying online, it is necessary for the candidate to keep the following documents ready:

Eligibility Criteria:

• The age of the candidate will have to be between 21 years to 26 years
• Candidate needs to complete a three-year degree in graduation and needs to have Mathematics either in the Graduation level or in the plus two-level
• The candidate needs to get atleast 50% marks in the qualifying examination and if the candidate belongs to the reserved category then he or she needs to get at least 45% marks.
• The candidates who are appearing for the final year can also apply provided they provide the necessary certificate within the mentioned deadline.

Exam Pattern:

• There will be one question paper for a total duration of three hours
• The candidates will have to answer only multiple-choice questions
• For every correct answer, the candidate will get 4 marks and for every incorrect answer, 1 marks will be deducted.
• There will be a total of 30 questions in reasoning, 30 questions in Mathematics, 20 questions in the fundamentals of computers, and 20 questions in English

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released by the authority through online mode only. The candidates will be able to download the admit card in the month of June from the official website online. Without a valid admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination. The admit card will have both the personal as well as the examination details of the candidate.

Result:

Once the written examination is over, the results will be declared by the authority. The candidates will be able to view the result online by logging in to the official website.
