- Application Form for Assam Polytechnic 2022 will be available via online mode.
- Fill out the application form from the first week of May 2022.

How to apply:
- Visit the official website @ dte.assam.gov.in.
- On the home page, click on the PAT 2022 Notification.
Registration Process:
- Click on “Click here to Apply”.
- Then, the Application Form will open.
- Fill up the Application form properly. It is mandatory to fill all the fields.
- Upload your photograph & scanned signature and save the Application form by clicking the “Submit” button.
- Your recent scanned photograph is only in .jpg format (file size should not exceed 100 KB)
- Your scanned signature is only in .jpg format. (file size should not exceed 100 KB)
- Once the Application form is saved, a unique application number will be generated for you which will be active throughout your admission process.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on “Next” to continue, the next step of the application process shall take you to the Payment Portal of State Bank Collect.

- Payment Process: There are two modes of payment: ONLINE and OFFLINE
- Online Payments can be made by Net Banking/ Debit Card / Credit Cards.

- Retain Printouts of the receipt generated by State Bank Collect, for future reference.

Assam Polytechnic (PAT) 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
Find below the Assam Polytechnic (PAT) 2022 Eligibility Criteria information, candidates must follow:
- The candidate must be Indian & permanent resident of Assam
- Candidates must have completed class X / H.S.L.C or equivalent examination from some recognized board or university to apply for Assam Polytechnic 2022.
- Candidates must have Science & Mathematics subjects in the qualifying examination.
- The Candidates must have attained at least 40% marks, 35% for SC, and 33% for ST in class X.
- Candidates must be possessed a domicile certificate of Assam.
- Candidates must have been born on or after 1st August 2000 & for the reserved category on or after 1st August 1997 may also apply.
Exam Pattern:
- The exam must be commenced in the offline mode.
- The candidate will get 2 hours to solve the paper.
- The question paper will consist of 100 questions.
- There will be Multiple Choice Questions in the question paper.
- The candidate will get 1 mark for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking on the paper.
Assam Polytechnic Syllabus:
The candidate needs to prepare from the syllabus of class X for subjects such as Science, Mathematics, and English. Topics from each subject will be as follows:
- Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects.
- Mathematics: This subject includes topics such as Probability, Mathematical Reasoning, Arithmetic, Matrices, Sets & Functions, Trigonometry, and many others.
- English: This subject will include topics such as Grammar & Command of Language.
- General Knowledge: This subject includes topics such as India & its neighboring countries, the Indian Constitution, General Politics, Scientific reservations, etc.
Admit Card:
Collect the admit card of Assam Polytechnic 2022 from the official website. You will receive an admit card in June. Collect the admit card on time because without admit card you cannot enter the examination center. Make use of login credentials like application number & date of birth so that you can download the admit card. Make sure that you also carry valid ID proof such as Aadhar Card, Driving License, etc. along with the admit card in the examination hall.
Steps To Download the Admit Card:
- Log on to www.dte.assam.gov.in
- Click on Online Application for PAT 2022.
- On the next page, click on “Applicant Login” situated in the top Menu bar, and an Applicant Login Screen will appear.
- Sign in to your account using your ‘Application Number’ & your ‘Date of Birth’. You’ll be taken to the Applicant Login Page.
- Click on ‘Download Admit Card’
- Your Admit Card will be generated.
- You can now take the Print out of your ADMIT CARD.
Result:
The exam result will be released on the official website in July. Candidates will be able to get the merit list. Make use of login credentials to download your result. The result will consist of a candidate’s name, roll number, marks acquired in each subject, total marks, percentage, & result status. After the results are released, candidates will appear for the counseling procedure.
Counselling Process:
Those who are shortlisted in the merit list will appear for the counseling process. Counseling will begin in the first week of July 2022. Candidates must bring the required documents during the counseling time. Seats will be allotted to the candidates in several institutions.
