Assam Polytechnic 2023: The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam would announce Assam PAT test dates in the State for the scholars who are willing to study engineering/technical education. The State Council for Technical Education (SCTE), Assam is the body that is responsible for conducting the Polytechnic Exam in various disciplines in Engineering and Technology offered by various Polytechnic Institutes. Assam Polytechnic 2023 Application Form:
- You must follow the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam i.e, www.dteassam.in.
- Applicants need to submit an online Assam Polytechnic 2023 application form.
- After submission of the application form, the aspirants must take the printout of the submitted form and then send it to the authority as directed in the brochure, which can be downloaded from the official webpage.
- Please go through the complete brochure of Assam PAT then fill in the details form.
- Applicants after submitting the application form via online mode aspirants have to pay the application fee or examination fee through Bank Challan and attach the Challan receipt along with the printout of the application form.

- The aspirant has to ensure that he/she is eligible for appearing in Assam PAT and meeting all the prescribed criteria.
- The aspirant found ineligible at any stage, his/her candidature/admission would be canceled without any prior notice, and disciplinary action would be taken against him/her.
- Only one application would be considered, multiple applications would not be accepted.
- The application fee for Assam PAT is Rs.500/-.
- The fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Assam Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants who are planning to appear in Assam Polytechnic (PAT) 2023 following eligibility criteria are applied for appearing in PAT or for admission in Polytechnic:
Nationality:
- The aspirant must be an Indian Citizen.
Domicile:
- The applicant must belong to Assam as a permanent resident and must hold a domicile certificate.
Age Criteria
- The upper age limit for Assam PAT is 21 years as of 1st August.
Physical Fitness
- Aspirants have to be physically fit, mentally sound, and have to fulfill the basic physical standard.
Education Qualification:
- He/she must hold a H.S.L.C. Examination certificate from the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, or its equivalent Examination from a recognized board with Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 40% (35% for SC & 33% for ST) marks in average in Mathematics and Sciences.
- Age Limit:

Eligibility for Modern Office Management (MOM):
- The aspirant must be passed H.S.S.L.C. Examination (12th Standard) with Arts, Sciences or Commerce from Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) or its equivalent Examination.
- Age Limit: Applicants who are born on or after 01.08.1998 (for General category) and 01.08.1995 (for SC/ST) are eligible to apply.
Assam Polytechnic 2023 Exam Pattern:
- The Mode of the exam will be Offline Mode.
- The paper would comprise questions from Science and Mathematics.
- The paper would contain 100 objective type questions having four options.
- There would be only one correct response, an aspirant has mark carefully with black/blue ball pen only.
- There would 1 mark for every correct answer.
- Test center once allotted, would not be changed under any circumstances, and in this regard, no request would be entertained.
- The test duration would be of 2 hours.
- For Girls aspirants, a separate paper for Modern Office Management would be conducted which would contain questions based on General Knowledge and English.
