ASSAM TET 2023: The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test also known as Assam TET is a state-level teaching exam. The respective conducting authority for the examination is the Department of School Education also known as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), of the State Government of Assam. Assam TET 2023 Application Form:

THE Assam TET Application form will be made available by the month of June 2023. Applicants must go through the eligibility criteria in order to apply for the entrance exam. The application form will be available through online mode.

Assam TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (Assam TET 2023) Eligibility details are given below:

Nationality

• The Applicants must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

• The Applicants to appear for the Assam TET should not be above 38 years.
• For SC/ST Applicants age limit is relaxation is of 5 years.

Educational Qualification:

For Paper-I (Lower Primary Level):

• Applicants must have qualified class 12th education from a school of a recognized board.
• Applicants must be passing in all the subjects in class 12th final examinations.
• Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks in higher secondary examinations if the applicant belongs to the general category.
• Applicants must have scored at least 45% marks in the higher secondary examinations if an applicant is from a reserved category like SC, ST or OBC.

For Paper-II (Upper Primary Level):

• Applicants must have qualified class 12th education from a school of a recognized board.
• Applicants must be passing all the subjects of class 12th final examinations.
• Applicants must have at least 50% marks in higher secondary examinations if they belong to the general category.
• Applicants must have at least 45% marks in the higher secondary examinations if is from a reserved category like SC, ST or OBC.
• Applicants must have completed graduation from a university that has received UGC recognition.
• Applicants must have at least 50% aggregate marks in graduation.
• Applicants must have a two-year B.Ed. (Bachelor in Education) during graduation.
• If the applicant has not done graduation from a recognized university, he must have done a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from any recognized institute.

Exam Pattern:

• The type of Question asked will be MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions).
• total marks will be 200
• The duration of the exam is of 3 hours.
• One mark will be allotted for each right answer.
• 100 marks come question probably comes from General Studies and Current Affairs particularly.
• And 100 questions asked from Pedagogy & General English.

Admit Card:
