Assam TET 2022: SSA or Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan conducts the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) to appoint teachers for the junior primary and senior primary standards in schools. Willing candidates can apply for the post of teacher for both the standards. The junior primary classes are from one to five while the senior primary classes include 6th, 7th, and 8th standards. Only the successful candidates are appointed as teachers in numerous public and private schools of Assam. Assam TET 2022 applicants must go through the entire article in order to apply for the posts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for ATET or Assam Teacher Eligibility Test.
- The upper age limit for Assam TET is 38 years.
- 5 years of age relaxation is provided for SC/ST candidates.
- For Junior/Lower Primary candidates must score 50% in aggregate in the senior secondary examination.
- For Senior/Upper Primary applicants must have 50% in total marks of Higher Secondary examination from any renowned board.
- Applicants having B.Ed with his or her undergraduate degree are also eligible to apply.

Assam TET 2022 Application Form:
All applicants need to download the Assam TET 2022 application form to seat for the teacher eligibility test. Willing candidates need to furnish all necessary details in the application form in order to submit it before the due date. Applicants can go through the certified web portal of SarvaShikshaAbhiyan, to avail the application form.
Application Fee:
Assam TET 2022 application fee for general category candidates applying for junior primary and senior primary class is Rs.325 and Rs 300 for reserved category candidates applying for both these posts.
Exam Pattern:
Assam TET Organising Board has furnished the exam pattern with some advice for the applicants to follow. Candidates must know the exam pattern properly in order to perform better in the examination.
- Applicants need to seat for online examination.
- Time limit for the examination will be 150 Mins.
- Applicants need to answer objective type questions.
- There 150 questions in the question paper.
- Candidates will receive 1 mark for each accurate answer.
- There is no provision of negative marking in ATET.
- For paper I they need to answer 30 questions on each topic.
- The topics in paper I deal with Ist& 2nd Language, Mathematics, Child Development and Pedagogy and Environmental sciences.
- For Paper II 150 questions will be there.
- Mathematics and Social Science will have 60 questions whereas there will be 30 questions from remaining three topics.
- The topics in paper II are Ist& 2nd Language, Mathematics & Social science, Child Development and Pedagogy.
- The medium of the question paper except the language ones are English, Assamese, Hindi, Bengali and Bodo.

Syllabus:
- General Studies will include Indian Politics, Environmental Education, Science, Indian Economy (Particularly for Assam), History of Assam, Quantitative Questions, Mental Capability Questions, Logical Reasoning, Analysis etc.
- Pedagogy includes Pedagogy and Learning Process, Child Development and Pedagogy, Psychology of Adolescence, Educational Psychology.
- General English will have Composition, General Grammar and Reference to Context.
Admit Card:
Applicants can acquire their admit card using online method from the certified website of Assam TET Conducting Authority. Admit cards can be downloaded in April 2022. By providing the registration number and DOB the admit cards can be acquired from the website. All candidates are suggested to check the details furnished in the admit card before getting it downloaded. For any mistakes in the Admit Card the exam organising body can be contacted.
Steps to acquire Assam TET Admit Card 2022:
- Go to the authorized website.
- Find the Download option for Assam TET Admit Card
- Click the download option
- Provide the DOB and Registration Number.
- Press the option to SUBMIT.
- ATET Hall Ticket will be displayed immediately.
- Take a printed version of the same after getting it downloaded.
Result:
The RashtriyaMadhyamikSikshaAbhijan is the sole organising body responsible to announce the Assam TET Results via online mode at their authorized website. The applicants can get their results by providing the Registration Number, Admit Card Number and DOB with Captcha code. The scorecard will be declared with the results.
Answer key:
The answer key is released immediately after the exams. Based on the answer key applicants can estimate their score in the examination. For both, the papers answer keys are released separately. Results are only announced after the answer key has been released. Marks for the examination are allotted depending on the answer key provided by the exam conducting authority.
Cut off Marks:
To get successful in Assam TET 2022 applicants need to secure suggested marks as stated by the organising body. The legitimacy of the qualifying certificate will be for 7 years so entrants who will acquire score as per the required standards will succeed for Paper 1 and Paper 2 distinctly. The cut-off score differs depending on the category of the applicant.
